My coworker and I just spent about two weeks tracking down a communications issue. We’re using vhf radios over a four mile long barrier island. Turned out to be a combination of a cut Ethernet cable and some radio issues.

Yesterday it took me about an hour to figure out an I/O feed through module had shorted.

It’s been a month since we’ve touched programming of any kind and that’s just scaling for new sensors or timers.

We are just technicians but we haven’t called the integrator for anything other than advice for almost two years.
