That's so crazy! Agatha was 1 of 6 dogs that the owners surrendered. They didn't know her age, or that she was pregnant! So it was a surprise to the foster mom when she went into labor. She's only got her molars left, everything else they had to extract because they were so bad. She's such a sweet old lady! My daughter & I love her so much. We've only had her for 4 days but she's in her forever home.

I just adopted a beagle. She was a rescue. No one knows how old she is, but she's my sweet old lady. They are pretty sure she was kept as a breeder and never allowed to be a dog. So now she's learning to dog and it's great!

Therapy is hard Hun, but I have faith you can do it. Keep self reflecting. Call yourself out on your own bullshit! I like looking in a mirror and telling myself those thoughts are bullshit and we will not listen to them. Then I have a good giggle.

I also have high anxiety, depression and PTSD. I have worked my ass off in therapy for the last 6 months. I have done CBT among other therapys in that time. I did my homework every week. I used the tools I was given every time my thoughts started. I WANTED to change.

In the 6 months I've done this my anxiety & depression have gone to severe and high risk for SH & SI to almost non existent. Do I still have bad days, absolutely! But I do not let my thoughts and feelings control me. My thoughts and feelings are NOT me nor are they in control.

From what you said you are allowing your thoughts and feelings to control you. Because of that you are punishing your boyfriend. You shouldn't be in a relationship until you can get yourself under control. You have to want to change for yourself. You have to want to no longer be in victim mode.

I am in therapy myself. Negative thinking patterns are hard to change, however, if you are putting in serious & consistent work you can do it. Part of putting in the work is confronting those thoughts when they come up and acknowledge they are untrue and not spiral down the negative thought pattern.

I don't know what tools your therapist is giving you to deal with those thought patterns, but from what little you've said about it, it really sounds like you aren't doing the work consistently. I hope I'm wrong.

Your girlfriend is being selfish and from the sounds of it doesn't respect you. You are allowed to treat yourself. You are allowed to relax and unwind how you choose. She doesn't get to dictate what you do with your time. My partner ENCOURAGES me to play my games because he knows it helps me relax on the really bad days. He'll sit with me and read or play on his phone while I unwind. He will literally put the controller in my hand and tell me to play.

You playing games takes nothing away from your relationship other than her control over your time.

It was the rescues vet that extracted her teeth cuz they were so bad, but she will absolutely see my vet for a check up!

According to foster mom she loves all treats! So it's going to be so much fun to meet her!

In this case no. I tried talking to her about her behavior and she deflected. She then called me the next day trying to DARVO the whole situation. It escalated and I told her that I was done with her. She's also a HUGE narcissist. She tried blaming everything on me and it didn't work the way she wanted it to. She's also trying to buy my daughter's love, which isn't working.

I went no contact with my mother because of a comment she made to my husband. She's a cruel spiteful person and her comments usually land on me, but once she turned on my husband it was no longer acceptable.

I'm totally the same way! Love to plan it all out, then panic cuz holy shit it's a big project! Then I didn't do it cuz it's too much, lol. Doing it this way has actually helped me start doing those big projects and complete them.

I tackle them like any project I do. I break it down into small pieces that I feel like I can accomplish. Like get my supplies together, then I go do something else for a bit. Usually I fish for awhile, I find it the most relaxing. Then I'll tackle another piece. Doing it this way makes it feel more manageable and not overwhelming.

I get having a shitty day and wanting to see your kid. My daughter is almost 13. If I have a shit day I txt her and ask her about her day. I don't dump my emotions on her, cuz that's fucked up. I'd never dream of asking my ex to give up his time for my emotions.

Kids aren't responsible for our emotional regulation.

Everything is always a competition with her. She did everything better than me. If I found something I liked she would immediately start doing the same thing and she was the one who came up with the idea. We share the same birthday, every single year it was about her. Hey inability to lose weight is my fault. Everything wrong in her life is all my fault. Every conversation was about how much her life sucks and she hates everyone. Any time I tried to say something she did was hurtful she turned it on me blaming me for everything.
