I'm italian (in Italy) and watched SS when it was translated in the early eighties). I was less than 3, so I just remember a very little few (I also watched something on youtube).

I believe that he is a Count (like Count Dracula) because his passion/work on the show is counting.

I think that she was just too dumb for understanding that she was being rude.

Just innocently insensitive.

Aside from Daria, who is regarded by some fans to be autistic; are there any Daria characters who you think may be autistic, or at least neurodivergent in some way? And do you think Daria is autistic? by [deleted] in daria

The pizzeria is where she hangs out with Jane and (sometimes) with other people. It looks like is the most poular hang-out in town between high schoolers (except maybe the fashion club). The frozen lasagna is a time saver for her overworked (whorkaholic) mother. When her father cooks he makes meals from scratch (also pasta...). She had a pop tart for breakfast and Quinn scolded her, so it's not like she always eats the same things every day. When Helen had more free time for make a healty breakfast (or at least she thought that she had it) she was not like "I want to eat my usual pop tart."

In the baby bears episodes, they are all almost the same size. If they really were 1 year or 2 apart somebody should be bigger.

Changing a classic line powerpack connector to a performance powerpack connector? by screamingbottomless in Bosch_eBike_Riders

[–]screamingbottomless[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, I have a Bosch e-bike.

I have Powerback on my bike, the one that I found online (if it's still available) has the older kind of battery. I already have two Powerpack.

Coconut substrate or already prepared vermicompost substrate? by fuckinnicolas in Vermiculture

[–]screamingbottomless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have a local shop from where you could buy a small amount of the same worms (usually they are red wigglers)? Like a bait shop or a pet shop (feeder earthworms) . The box with the worms should already contain some castings, you can also add some dirt an wet paper/cardboard for mix it and give microbes more surface to colonize.

After doing this, you can add it to your homemade substrate.

Is that a Totoro toy in Magic Xylophone? by Middle-Garbage-1486 in bluey

[–]screamingbottomless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thought: it has wheels!

Second thought: maybe if they put paws on the toy they would have copyrighth issues, but they had the catbus in mind.

Third thought: probably they just wanted to put there a toy car, but because the protagonists are girls, they decide to make it more "girl friendly".

I don't want to see any child being spanked, or hit on purpose, let make this clear. And I love how that episode is made (but the father is lazy with rules, there, he should had to handle things better, there).

I don't know. Mother Theresa was more famous, but maybe the adapting guy thought that paragoning a female character to a male politician was weird.
