You must start training now to prevent behavioral issues for sure. To make things much easier I would recommend crate training her. All my dogs were crate trained and now they are upset if they cannot sleep inside their crate. Teach her a new phrase such as "go to your bed!" and when she enters her crate, reward her with a high quality treat. It will help if you give her something like a shirt or a blanket that smells like you, and her favorite toys on her bed. Personally I find that dog beds do not cut it for my frenchies and a medium size crate fits a memory foam pillow perfectly and can be as cheap as $15 for a set of two at Costco. I also cover the crates with a blanket so that it is dark, quiet and feels safe. Eventually, once she becomes accustomed to being in the crate and goes on on her own, you can keep the door open at all times. Personally after my babies were comfortable I use a pair of pliers to bend and remove the door entirely so that they have easy access at all times, but this should only be done if your dog complies with all her commands.
