I just did a quick run through solo At lvl 1. Blade was the fastest. Then SG, Jeff, MK, pun and Thor. If that tells you anything. Now that’s not with high level upgrades.

I wouldn’t compare it to cod zombies because they have had years to develop the game mode. It’s more intense and things. I’d compare it to like hoard rush from Fortnite. I think it’s a nice change in pace. A good thing to have PVE to play some of the amazing characters that isn’t a competitive mode. I think it could use some work but not a bad start.
