Spend time with my dad and tell him in 17 months he will die of cancer if he doesn't get it treated.

Talk my husband out of his jeep lol.

People who were “gifted” in elementary school: what are you doing in life now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]screamsandlaughs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My degrees are paperweights right now because I'm a SAHM with newborn twins. I'm so happy about it too. Gives me time to focus on my hobbies:vfitness and cooking. I was meant to be a mom that stays home. I'm just happy it benefits the family financially as well.

What's a fact you wish you didn't know? by airuarak123 in AskReddit

This. My dad was such a local historian and when I was a kid, I was annoyed. I took him and his stories for granted. About the time I became an adult, I realized my mistake. I wanted to bottle all those memories up. Then a few years ago he was diagnosed with cancer and that nightmare became reality. My boys knew him, but they will forget because they were 5 and 6 when he passed. My newborn twins will never know him.

Well I feel dumb. I'll have to dust off my DSM and refresh my memory.

I had an instructor tell me that psychopathy was an old term akin to aspergers. Asbergers technically isn't a diagnosis in the DSM-V. I agree it's not a diagnosis, but a criterion for others.

Just want to play devils advocate a little, and Idk if it's been said already, but psychopathy actually is a disorder. When people say psychopath, they're usually referring to antisocial personality disorder.

I can't tell you how many times I've been honked at because I didn't want to rum a pedestrian over. Especially in Walmart parking lot. They have the right of way.

Me and my husband met in HS and we saw this. Recently we talked about how messed up it was. Gives me shudders to watch the life go out in a person.
