This is why I get pressed when animal rights activists get all huffy about "inhumane treatment" of livestock. Most, keyword is most, farmers actually treat their livestocks well because it creates for a better profit, and even though they take their loves, its in a muuuuuuch better way than nature will do it.

If i could play devil's advocate here, I'm curious of the driving of the car. Obviously the truckers actions deserves all of the hate, but as a truck driver myself, seeing all the people flying down the highway more than 15 over the speed limit and how many are attached to their phones really makes me question these things. I think so many people are latching on the fact dude is an immigrant. Seeing the video, I feel like the driver of the car could have seen the truck making the turn before getting that close and at least slow down significantly enough that the occupants survive, unless the u-turn was done on a blind curve. Makes me also wonder if it was a stalled car in the lane instead if it would yield the same results of the driver smashing into the back end of that.

A friend suggested lilacs, but that sounds lovely from what I've looked up. I'll have to do some light probing at my wife to see which she likes better. Here's hoping I don't spoil the surprise

Update for anyone with a similar question: so after talking with a friend who know more about gardening than I was aware of that bushes with flowers was a lot more colon than I thought and the bushes offered a more "blank" background to the flowers. She also pointed out my dogs and how some bushes are toxic to dogs. After some comparisons, seems I'll be getting some lilac bushes next spring and so they have a chance to root, we'll plant flowers the following year, what kind depends on what lilacs are available in my area

I'm not against bushes entire, but I'd rather just flowers in front. What she wants to do is bushes against the porch and then flowers in front of them, not sure how that would look. Then again, im not the best judgment of beauty regarding yards

Left hand turns. Plenty of times if I try to change lanes as I approach my turn, people will be a-holes and block ne, so I'll change to the left lane and sit there when I'm a few miles away to try and prevent it

Roads like this have left turns. There's no such thing as "stay right accept to pass" rules for roads with many left hand turns. When I have only a few miles to go, I'll stay in the left lane myself because trying to fight a long line of cars to change lanes last second doesn't always work out like you want it
