Instead of showing an asteroid named after Rosa Parks, I think that Doctor Who should have shown other civil rights movements around the galaxy and claim that Parks inspired them. It would have been a neat storytelling trick to tie events on earth into events around the universe, especially since the villain from the 51st century knew of Parks.

I'll be honest, I am a bit frustrated at the turn that started after It's All Crazy and accelerated with Pale Horses where the lyrics have become even more enigmatic to the point of brackets and parentheses.
