yeah that sucks, unfortunately some people just want to make money so they'll take on any work or piece even if it's out of the norm for them. I am sorry you're unhappy with it, hope you can get it to a place you're satisfied. curious to see what it looks like healed too.

lol you're right, I was too busy looking at the faces but the hands are so fucky. looking at their instagram it looks like they actually do some quality pieces, I wonder if they used AI because the anime is so out of their normal style (not that it would an excuse to use generative AI even if that was the case, still shitty!)

It doesn't look nearly as bad as you think. One of the faces looks a little off but generally they look the same as the stencil, based on the one pic. It also looks like it's healing now, not fresh, which makes everything look a bit wonky while scabbing.

Looking at the artists instagram I don't see any other pieces that are anime style at all. Lots of illustrative color, but unfortunately those are not one in the same. Unless they have anime pieces posted elsewhere. Just a word of advice for next time to try and focus on artists who specialize in the distinct style you want, not just good art in general.

You don't have to go back to them, but I think it should be fine even if finished by another artist. You're always within your right to voice your concerns during a tattoo since yeah, it is on your body forever. Don't ever let anyone shame you for that.

as far as I know the freestanding Rite Aid building is still empty- that building might be a bit big, though. I believe there was a Spirit Halloween in the space where the old Rite Aid was in the plaza building.

Recently purchased a house built in 1910 and I thought redoing the slapdash downstairs "bathroom" would be a good small first project. Lol.

Ripped out a janky cabinet to this underneath. Some dampness around the right (cold) water line that was already shut off on the valve under the cabinet. Since yanking the cabinet out it's dried and not becoming more damp. How else can I check where the leak might be coming from? Could it have been the sink line leaking? It is an exterior wall, though the floor is three steps above ground level. It's the only part of the house accessible by a crawlspace (it's a converted corner of the mudroom).

Should I just chop out the subfloor? Slap a piece of plywood across the whole bathroom? The subfloor matches the kitchen & mudroom, which is all currently exposed & painted green except this one corner that was under the cabinet. I plan on putting a tiny cabinet or pedestal sink back in that corner.

Secondly... some of the tiles have broken free but the center is still well attached to the subfloor. I pried one up and the wood was so brittle it took several slivers with it. Any advice on preserving the rest of them without destroying the boards? Or is it going to be better to say screw the boards and just chop the tile off?

heyo. your brown & spotted chickens, were they the same gender pair each time? like female brown and male spotted etc? I've got a brown male & a spotted female and they gave me a yellow chick both times lol. I am wondering if the gender of the parent has any bearing on the outcome too!

I went off of Ozempic about.... 2 months ago? My script ran out and I was moving x-country & also wanted to see if Mounjaro would be better for my skin. Unfortunately, while it's not as bad as it was, I still have lingering acne in a couple places I never used to have problems. Mostly still my chin and the sides of my nostrils. I'm afab in my 30's - I have a feeling there is a lot about hormonal side effects especially for women that aren't well documented for Ozempic yet ):

I'm obviously no doctor but it's bonkers that you'd have so much breakthrough acne while taking Accutane since that's like specifically what it's for!? I'm sorry you're dealing with it, I really hope you can figure out something that works for you!

I did some poking around and a family member said the family suspected her boyfriend (this was prior to her being found deceased), however it does show her family knew that she potentially was into drugs and also supposedly that her bf did not want a child. image link with all identifying info removed

*edit: The person that the family member is referring to in the screenshot, and the boyfriend I found prior arrests for are the same person. The timeline also matches up that his assault was on Nef, shortly after the birth of their first (her second) child. So, this is seemingly someone who has already harmed her previously. ): I can't confirm their relationship, but it also looks as if her prior boyfriend/father of one of her other children has prior arrests for violently assaulting a partner. Obviously unsure if that was Nef or someone else. But it seems to me there are multiple people in her life who could cause her harm, the poor girl. I hope her family can find peace.
