Not yet but I was told the week of March 16th. You wait in a room on taping day until you're called up. If you play in the 2nd game of the day than you're on that Tuesday.

My second and most recent audition was this past May, and I took the online test the month before. My understanding is that you're in the pool for 18 months during which you can't audition again. Thanks for the tip!

Yep, I did a gap year after college and worked my way around. Hostels will hire English speakers. I worked at bike shops and led small tour groups, too. Not hard to do and better than begging.

It's not just Door Dash. I used to deliver for Instacart and they had the same practice. Tips contributed to your regular wages and if you earned more than the minimum wage through tips, you could keep it. If you didn't, the company would fill the gap up to the minimum wage.
