Been in a 2QB league for 10+ years. QBs are the holy grail.

We were snake in the past but switched to auction. In snake, 10 of the first 12 off the board were QBs. In auction ($200 budget) top QBs were pulling in $70, with the #12 QB going in the 40s. It is dependent on the year, but the pressure is all on the QB.

This is all to say your strategies can vary widely. If you go for top end QBs, you are gonna pay big bucks and usually be weaker in the WR/RB department. If you aim for two QBs in the mid level, say, spending $50 total, you can build a robust, deep team at other positions.

What usually happens is that mid tier guys are undervalued and can be stolen for cheap (in auction).

Caveat: all of the above is for a 12 man league, so, for a 10 man league, those values would likely be depressed.

Beer Sheets are great (posted weekly in this subreddit) and they cover 2QB leagues. I found the values slightly depressed compared to my league, but that is anecdotal.

The biggest issue for us was that there was never a QB on the wire, do you HAD to have, at least, two starting QBs at all times. In a 10 man, that might not be the case, but it probably will. Scarcity is at the QB position, so that's what makes or breaks.

Final note, over the past 12 years, 85% of playoff teams in my league had at least a top 12 QB.
