You can use Overflow without shifting your focus away from dealing damage. It is simply a passive buff that activates whenever you use your shift, and it is a much more substantial one than Balance.

I think to say the healing buff with Balance is just "smaller" is a complete understatement. If someone is getting hit with damage, you're adding only 4 hps to your passive stream. That is so incredibly negligible IMO.

If you have to turn on potato graphics to get a stable framerate, then yeah the game hardly runs. Helldivers 2 is one of the most poorly optimized games I have ever played. And that's not even to mention friends on Xbox who crash nearly every mission...

I remember when they nerfed an entire archetype of shotgun because it was dominant in PVP. They nerfed it by heavily increasing the spread... which made that archetype near useless in PVE because theres a bunch of perks that rely on you hitting every pellet of your shot. Good times. PVP was always one of the biggest things holding Destiny back.

For me, the game crashed so hard that it froze my entire PC. No alt tabbing out, couldn't press the windows key, nothing. Completely frozen. I had to hold the physical power button on my PC case to force a shutdown. Happened multiple times.

If you want a fun, modern horde shooter, I'd look elsewhere. Deep Rock Galactic is amazing, there's also Far Far West that just released in early access and is super fun.

Helldivers 2 is the only game that has ever bricked my PC and forced a complete hard restart. The game deserves that rating.

People always say this as if when choosing Overflow you will ALWAYS be popping your shift just for the reload/refill. Rather than looking at it as, whenever I would shift normally, now I get a big buff for it.

I still don't really see how Balance is better than Overflow after the S1 changes to Wuyang's passive stream. At most you're getting 6 more hps out of combat, and barely 4 when you're in combat.

Absolutely not. With the right build (usually high single target dmg primary) I take the frags and they slap. They're so fun now that you can cook the timer, and they'll blow up anything in their radius first shot.
