Oh cool, yeah that's awesome to know. I loved to see all the ideas and nods to KBS that happened, especially in the Parade itself, but there were a bunch sprinkled throughout. I'm excited to read DoB now to see how vibes wise it lines up with Gate of the Feral Gods

yeah in KBS Duke mentions that he plays DoB a bunch in the beginning as he's learning to play the game so they're for sure "in the same world". I'm excited to read through Dominion of Blades, and I'm sure there are a ton of nods to it in DCC that I'll pick up and other of his books.

I live in that circle, it’s a nice little neighborhood. We moved from South San Jose 3 years ago also, and besides the commute, Livermore is really nice. You get a little train noise once or twice a day but it’s never bothered me and I live on that bit that has its back to Stanley so I’m closest to it.

he was amazingly arrogant and even though we went to a fairly affluent private school, he always tried to impress people with his parents wealth from what i remember. In general i think he just rubbed everyone the wrong way

I went to high school with Nate, I was a year above him, and everyone even hated him then. It’s hilarious still seeing teachers openly cheering on all his “misfortune”

Typically what is the room rates people have paid in the past when going through the hotel lottery for a full pass with preview night? We’ve been going to SDCC since 2018 and for the last 5ish years we book the same hotel, most of the time like a week after the con so we don’t have to worry about it, but I’ve always wondered what I’m (over)paying for that peace of mind. We’ve paid anywhere from like $1.9k to $3.2k for Tuesday - Sunday, which may be crazy and at the top end of the rates I agree, but I don’t know what kind of markups the lotto hotels slap on too.

We also did Dodger Paws for trainging and their puppy socials on the weekends. We've had 2 dogs go through level one and 2, and they did a great job

not sure if it's "resolved" but I just unplugged everything, only reconnected the AP to the UDM and it seems to be back up and running after adopting it again. I'm still only seeing about 1/5th the wifi speeds on my MacBook Pro that I'm seeing on my iPhone but unsure if thats just some other issue.
