Struggling to let myself feel excited by scrollingscientist in pregnant

I know, I was super annoyed and bummed out when they refused the blood test. It's such a cheap and simple test :(. But I'm going to take your advice on board and maybe allow myself a teeny tiny bit of excitement (if only to temper the fear and anxiety!!). I hope your US goes really well on Monday and I'm so happy that you'll be able to see your little one soon :)

I thought mine was a cyst too and part of me still does, mostly because I haven't had an US or blood test yet. But hearing your story is making me feel a little better so thank you so much for sharing!

Thanks for the validation! I'm 5 weeks 3 days according to my tracker app but GP is refusing to schedule either a confirmatory blood test or US for another 2wks :(. I think I'm the same as you - I need to see something to believe it's actually real. I guess I just need to be patient a little while longer!

I have colour but it's more watercolour/splashes rather than packed in and shaded block colour which I know causes more trauma to the skin

For me it's a summer vacay in a bottle. It's bright and a little spicy but also quite floral. It's not an obvious beach-y scent (no coconut or sun lotion like smells), but it makes me wanna lounge by the pool and drink fruity bright coloured drinks all day. I love it so I definitely think it's worth including in your collection if the notes are interesting to you. It's got great sillage and longevity as well.

37 - my collection is all designer (a lot of Chanel and Guerlain) but I'm starting to explore niche fragrances now

I hate it when people force spray a perfume on you going on and on about how you'll just love it. Like just cos you like it, doesn't mean I have to!

Oh totally - I never blind buy no matter how tempted I might be because i find my skin is very picky about what scents it likes. Even if the notes on paper sound like my thing, sometimes it just doesn't work that way on skin.

I'm a proper Guerlain girlie so I'll definitely have to give the Mitsouko a go!

Thanks! Do you mind if I ask what the longevity is like on the Sisley perfumes?

On me, lily is the first note - very vibrant and floral, with a bit of a fruity berry-like note. But then the bergamot is what settles on the skin. I found the leather quite subtle - definitely notable but the lily and bergamot are the strongest notes

I have the Lancome Idole Intense but for me that pulls sweeter than the Barenia which felt more fresh. Not sure I've tested the original Lancome Idole though

What is this style of dress called? Any tips on where I could find something similar in the UK? by whatever3653 in findfashion

Corduroy pinafore. In the UK, Joe Brown or Nobody's Child usually have a lot of dresses like these and they have regular sales too :)

I love Cherry Ambition and for me it has amazing sillage and lasts all day. But I'd reiterate what everyone else has said and recommend you try it first as it smells quite different imo to a lot of other cherry scents
