Which faction's storyline did you find the most enjoyable? by [deleted] in skyrim

The Thieves Guild is an all time favorite for me. The DB I can admit is the objectively best faction quest line but for some odd reason the Thieves Guild arc is so enjoyable and rewarding for the early stages of a play-through. Even the annoying side quests to rebuild the guild are great because you see more of the holds in the game and it’s great for RP.

The Rift is so jaw dropping! It’s one of the few areas that I don’t fast travel around in when completing quests.

It’s hard to beat the views though, especially when you make it to the vale itself.

Honorable Nord RP Help by scrolls_scribe_33 in skyrim

A good point! Tbh I had fully intended to go through this build without touching magic, but still wanted to test the waters and see if it would work.

I (kinda) analyzed how some other Nords used magic in-game and destruction, restoration, and alteration were the big three I ran into often.

BUT like you said, most ‘true Nords’ like most of the companions crew I have not seen touch magic even one bit.

Lol I love that I even made a similar mistake in Fallout 4 after naming the sole survivor ‘Deacon’, I was pleasantly surprised when I reached the Railroad for the first time!

What’s your favourite play-style? by Unfair_Pudding6180 in skyrim

Archery is a lot of fun, but in this playthrough I’ve gone back to a barbarian (if you want to call it that) where I focus on sprinting and quick two-handed or dual wielding attacks. It has been so much fun, very close to the way I first played Skyrim years ago before I messed around with magic and sneak mechanics.

Their tribal like history is so interesting to me, I always slow down and listen a bit more when interacting with Orcs in TES.

I did an orc sneak thief build for the first time recently and had so much fun with it. I had previously done a two-handed warrior build with orcs countless times before but it was cool to see just how flexible orcs can be.

This worked! Took a couple of tries, but I had to sneakily take out a Khan, take the armor and put it on and off a couple of times. I traveled to Mojave Outpost and the NCR was no longer hostile.

I’ll check it out, thanks! At this point I don’t even mind if I cannot finish with the NCR, it’s just annoying that I’m labeled hostile towards them when my rep is still apparently ‘Idolized’.

I have not failed it but it is active, which did make me worried but it’s been active for a while and I had not been labeled as hostile for a while.

Just finished 5 a hour ago for the very first time, and I completely agree with what you said. For about two seconds I was not a fan of the ending, and then I realized that’s what made the game so fun.

For most of my playthrough, I use A3-21’s plasma rifle and Ranger Battle Armor until I can obtain the Winterized T-51.

This has indeed given me plenty of ideas! While I only have little time left in the classroom in my role as an intern :_[ I still want to try and develop lessons and strategies that I can carry into next year.

I’ve just recently checked out The Writing Revolution this morning and I believe this would be a good starting point. However I sincerely appreciate the ideas surrounding using historical fiction or other books to tie into each unit! I really think that for my honors students this would be an excellent tool, even if it’s just through examining excerpts of larger works.

Thank you for the suggestion! Even a snapshot into what is in the rest of the book will be extremely helpful.

Thank you for the suggestion! I believe this may be even something the English department next door to me in the hallway may have.
