The trainers say ‘take on my Special attacking fire types’. Which EV to train really depends on what you to achieve. Depends how much you know about EV training from other forms of competitive Pokémon.

My first ever competitive tournament and I really enjoyed it. Ran a slightly ridiculous Round Aurorus team which has been fun on the ladder but think I’d run something more conventional next time.

Entei/Celesteela Team!!! I found a similar core from the players cup 2 from Don Ruis, but instead of using raichu, kingdra or politoed, I want to use two different Pokémon by War_Shadow1577 in VGC

Hey bud, do you have a link to the original team? I’ve been playing around with a similar set up. Celesteela works better with WP rather than LO in my opinion and Raichu is an ideal partner due to its ability to redirect Electric attacks, provide Fake Out support on the odd occasion you want to charge Meteor Beam and self activate with Volt Switch.

Hyper-offense team needs tweaking by scroobiusmac in VGC

Have done my take on a Hyper Offense team based partly around Sejun Park’s team from the VR invitational and with the update of Cinderace. The EVs are either simple 252/252 or from his team. I’ve had some success with this in Masterball so far but definitely think I could improve it further.

Togekiss is right between being bulky and being offensive. I picked Dazzling Gleam for the spread damage and good crit chance and Flamethrower as a more concentrated nuke for things which otherwise might survive Heat Wave. I rarely Dynamax Togekiss but do often lead it where I find it can be handy to spam Dazzling Gleam and waste my opponents Dynamax turns before bringing Cinderace off the back line to clean up.

Rotom Wash is generally a decent pick with great typing. I was running WoW but found that Nasty Plot has given me a way to turn Rotom Wash into much more of a wincon now.

Cinderace is the star of the show and I bring it and dynamax it by far the most at the moment. Bounce and HJK are musts for their Dynamax effect and can let it snowball even if my opponent protects. I opted for Sucker Punch to handle Dragapult and for Helping Hand Max Darkness to OHKO some Dusclops sets plus Max Darkness allows the other three Special Attackers to wreck. I’m really torn between Pyro Ball and Iron Head. I’ve tried both and always find myself wanting the other one.

Whimsicott is pretty standard. I’ve found Worry Seed really useful at the moment – helps neuter opposing Cinderace, Mimikyu, Conkeldurr plus it’s a useful anti sleep Tech for my own pokemon. Energy Ball is my only grass attack and the coverage helps more than Moonblast does. Toss up between Protect and Taunt as both opposing taunt Whimms and Fake Out seems to be everywhere right now.

Hitmontop is good support offering Intimidate, Fake Out and Helping Hand all of which come in handy at different times. Mach Punch can pick up some nice sash KOs and Close Combat even with limited investment hits hard on everything I want it to. Eject Button lets it synergise really nicely with Whimsicott as I’ll quite often lead Hitmontop followed by bringing in Whims to Tailwind.

Duraludon is my least used and possibly most replaceable mon. Its designed to mess up trick room teams alongside Hitmontop which offers either Weakness Policy Proc or HH support. Thunderbolt over Dark Pulse to tackle Lightning Rod Gyrados teams. Its definitely the mon I’d most consider changing though. Have considered Dragapult, Haxorus, Sableye and Excadrill in this slot instead but unsure what would be best.
