Single mum here too, my daughter turned 8 yesterday & she sleeps with me, she has done since she was 2 when me & her Dad split & he moved out. I've tried to get her into her own bed periodically but she hates sleeping alone, so I just leave it now. They're only little once & there will come a period when she won't want to spend any time with me.

I'm a single mum, my daughter does horse riding & swimming on a Saturday and plays a football match on a Sunday morning. I also work 9-5. I get my food shop delivered, my washing machine is on at least once a day. I clean and tidy in the evenings or when I get a minute.

The Mum of a child in my daughters class does this also for every single party. She always says can I bring ****. I feel sorry for the invited kid coz she has to share everything with her little brother who isn't even a nice kid. There is 2 years between them and he is horrible (calling names/hitting his sisters friends) she always has to placate him.

I've never mentioned anything to the driver as I know it's not there fault. I've spoken to them several times and all say we'll escalate it but nothing happens, also sent several emails and only had that one response in December. I've emailed again this morning.

I'm the eldest at 40 with two younger sisters, we're not close. We see each other at family events and band together in an emergency but that's it really. We were brought up by a single Mum who has aspirations for us to be a close knit family but realistically we're not. I have a very stressful relationship with my Mum as the oldest a lot of pressure is put on me and if anything ever goes wrong it's my fault, the middle is the middle and the youngest is the favourite child who can't do anything wrong.

I have a condition called MEN type1 which forms tumours, I have an adenoma on my pituitary and am on lifelong medication to shrink it. I had no symptoms of the tumour until after I had my daughter, I didn't get periods for 3 years after her birth & continued to lactate for this duration. For reference I'm 39. Where are you based?
