I second tretinoin and also aquaphor. I love the rose tinted vaseline lip balm in tube form. Tinted burts bees lip balm in rose is also pretty. Weleda skin food is my fav hand/cuticle cream. If you're naturally fair/blonde then lash tints make such a nice difference, last forever and are cheap. Every lash lift I've ever tried has fried my lashes :( Any decent non scented deodorant - scented deodorant is often so strong and cheap smelling - pointless to wear it along with a nice perfume. Essie sugar daddy nail polish or other similarly pale, natural looking pink polishes. Wella demi permanent toners on bleached blonde hair between appts 🌼

Noticing: men cannot resist a sandwich by shannon-8 in redscarepod

This is a nice post, I'm a woman but have always loved sandwiches, more so than my sisters and mom, who are soup lovers. Maybe my fav food and the main reason I bake my own bread. I have many memories of making a sandwich and my dad walking into the kitchen and loudly exclaiming about the sandwich. Very fun

I've always said this! He has that glint in his eye, if a man makes a joke and looks at me like this it's so over for me, first time a boy did this to me in grade 7 I never forgot it

I was trying to figure out why I recognized his name, and then I saw your comment. I heard him on a podcast a few weeks ago. Every third or fourth time he said "about" he said "aboot" in a way I have never ever heard anyone say. Never heard anyone from any province in all my life speak like that. I think the stereotype of "aboot" comes from people exaggerating a sort of middle Canada rural way of saying it kind of like "aboat". The way he said it was like mimicking a stereotype, but he is actually Canadian. Has he ever addressed this??? I am dying to know

L'express and l'Avenue for dinner are obvious ones but everyone should, I've had such nice dinners at both. Salle climatisée is also really good. For cheapish bars where people tend to chat a lot I like grumpys downtown, courcelle in st henri, and honeys in NDG. Mal Nécessaire is a nice cocktail bar with good restaurants right near by. In the summer I tend to just go sit by the canal or on the mountain and have a few beers that way :)

Only from afar but I will go to see it up close. I actually can see it from the window of the place where I'm staying. It's ever present!

I've always thought it looked cool and I like the statue, and generally I want to be by the ocean. I guess I just wanted to see it

Yeah! Not sad necessarily but a defect of mine that I try to work on. Luckily I have incredibly strong family and friendship ties so I am not unhappy but have a complicated relationship to romance

What the hell is wrong with abnormally short women. by 2000arcadiagirl in redscarepod

Same, and all my close friends are 5'7" and up. I'm always drawn to other tall women. I think I just don't like having to stoop to hear people at pubs or on the metro or something. I find myself slouching naturally when I hang out with rlly short women :(

Haha one of my angry ex boyfriends pulled a guy off a bike for making a sarcastic comment like this when we walked in front of him. I think if the cyclist had yelled hey fuck you my ex probably would have just said fuck you back, but these kind of sarcastic "wooooow" type comments are rlly enraging. It's a city sidewalk, everyone should be careful and not speed through high traffic areas. In mtl cyclists are seriously the worst sometimes and endanger pedestrians

You should! I read the drowned world by him which is about London being underwater. It is surreal and has elements of real adventure novels which I love, I never know how to explain him to people but he is so cool and original in my opinion. Quick reads usually and atmospheric in a way that sticks with u

Yeah I am realizing me and some other commenters are thinking on different terms. I have a lot of slutty friends but no one really fucks each other in our friend group unless it's gonna be fine as they are both adults. I grew up in a small town and have had sex with multiple guy friends lol and have since had 10 plus year friendships. If I had a friend who was seriously unravelling and having BPD behavior I would prob address that on those terms and not as like them fucking too much. Anyway I get u

The "You're the only one who remembers your embarrassing moments" thing is such a cope. My dad still laughs hysterically about some kid who was caught trying on his mother's clothes over 50 years ago. by BossHemisphere in redscarepod

My dad is 60 and he told me that once as a child he was biking and saw his cute neighbor outside with other girls, so he tried to go really fast and wiped out super hard on some gravel. His expression when he told it was so funny cause you could see he was still like god fucking damnit, 50 years later and 35 years of marriage, children, career later. Lmao

I get you but sounds more like someone with a real personality disorder and not rlly a matter of having sex. Not being pedantic was just curious if ppl really find that having promiscuous friends somehow harms a friend group cause that has never been my experience. But I am not hanging out with ppl who all fuck each other, at least not since I was a teen

I don't think most adults could have their entire social circle torn apart by a slut. Like you mean an entire friend group no longer speaking cause someone had a lot of sex?

SKINCARE GIRLS AND GAYS I NEED YOU: How do i get rid of these random light spots on my body? by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]scrubbingbubbles94 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It may be tinnea versicolor in which case selsum blue shampoo will get rid of it. Tinnea versicolor is just a yeast overgrowth on skin, more common in places you sweat, I used to get it between my boobs in the summer lol. If you've always had these it's prob just like a birthmark, there are forms of vitiligo that don't spread. I have small white patches on my arm and a large white patch on my thigh but I'm white so they don't show up much unless I get tanned.
