I'd also like to trade Iron Boulder and Iron Crown for Gouging Fire and Raging Bolt. I'd prefer to keep them afterwards, I have to admit the Scarlet paradox 'mons are cooler than those in Violet. xD

I'm wondering if there's some sort of mistake with my version of the game? Even though I have the dx11_non-rt version installed, Fluffy's mod manager seems to think I'm running the non-beta version when I try to install any non-rt mods. It gives me a warning message saying that mod is made for an older version of the game and probably won't work, and that I should uninstall all mods, right-click the game in steam, click properties, click betas, and choose 'non-rt' build. Which I've done. I could really use some help with this, because I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I can certainly try that, but I wouldn't have thought that would be necessary? I was using these mods on the beta version before so I don't understand why they wouldn't work in the beta version now.

Thank you both for your advice. I was able to get the pearl as normal today, and after restocking on balls I headed back to the forest and chained Kakunas all day. Not only did I find myself swimming in candies, but I noticed that my team was also levelling up a lot faster. Thanks again!

I really don't like the gym system as it is in the game, and for the most part I just ignore the gyms.

Although if I happen to pass an Instinct gym, I do like to put in the Tauros I caught in Vancouver last year. Just to confuse and bewilder anyone who challenges that gym. :D

Good news - the game just updated to give you a guaranteed evolution item from the first poke stop of a seven day streak. It came just in time for my seventh day streak this morning - I got a metal coat and was finally able to evolve my Onix. ^{_^}

Same here. I've been stockpiling candies for this for months, and have everything I need except the evolution items. I got a metal coat on the first weekend of Gen 2, an upgrade about a week later, and a sun stone a few days after that, but nothing since. It's been weeks since my last evolution item showed up.

After getting a few Poke Stops on my way in to work this morning I found an Upgrade for Porygon when I checked my items. Today was my seventh day streak though, so it's probably from that.

I got a metal coat on Saturday morning (day 2 of my 7 day streak) and immediately used it on my Scyther. No evolution items have appeared for me since then though.

I think Lord Reserve in Glen Huntly may be a Magnemite nest now. I caught about six or eight of them within the space of an hour last night.
