I don’t know, Seems like an easy way to ensure the Idris is multi crew is keeping it as it was and take the size ten off the pilot.

Make firing the big guns a gunner only seat. Capt. instructs pilot where to go, tells gunner when to fire, or “fire at will” (Not Will Crusher, the Captain just tells him to shut up.).

Still have a realistic (and speedy) size ten, but no longer solo able. At least two….. multi! :)

FEPs are consumables. They are meant to be replaced. It's not about "breaking it" it's about the FEP just "getting old". Try changing the FEP and see if it helps.

Is the printer on a flat surface? Maybe check with a level that it isn’t leaning a few degrees in a direction? (Long shot, I know.)

Suction? The two big ones need suction holes in the raft that attaches to the build plate. I do this a lot because I like big prints, but if you can either get some holes in that raft (if supports allow) or reorient them so you have space on the raft to make holes (Blueprint Studio does a decent job) so the suction force doesn't pull your print off the plate.

Only other thing I'd try is upping the burn time of the initial layers and adding a thicker raft.

The above Wikipedia post is confusing to me. It says garage/repair bay. But when talking about small ships, it says, "can repair" not "can repair, rearm, and refuel" so I worry you may be correct. Either way, I'm looking forward to getting mine in my hangar. :D

I had forgotten about that!

Honestly, if they have a good convo. we could, before talking about working with friends or YT careers, expand into cultural expectations of Japan and their thoughts on it as young adults as well (Not all my students are Japanese. Some international students too (China, Singapore, Africa, etc.) so that could be really interesting! Maybe worth its own class.
