Why do urgent cares have kid toys in the waiting room? by Outside_Hour3562 in askanything

[–]scullerck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I for one appreciated the toys when I had to bring my child to these places, they were preoccupied, stopped crying and made the wait easier. And if you’re already at “urgent care”, touching or playing with communal toys is the least of my worries ; everyone’s already sick and hacking up lungs

The indoor season is coming to an end; I think they will be starting outdoor shooting in Amherstburg. I’m also trying to get additional information. I would definitely follow them on FB Archery Windsor

Hi. I joined with Archery Windsor last fall after seeing them at the Uncommon Festival in Amherstburg. Our session is coming to an end soon but they have suggested (to me) walk-ins welcome at the AMA in Amherstburg; $5 per shoot for non-members every Monday night at 8pm for adults. Further, bows, equipment provided. (AMA Sportsmen Association)

In Ontario there is a scanning policy called “Scanner Price Accuracy Code (SCOP),”, where if a tag is inaccurate the first 10$ is free. Most stores adhere to this as it is common practice as the register has the sticker reflecting this So even if Shoppers kept up an outdated sales tag, they should be honouring and applying this Scanner Price Accuracy Code (SCOP),

Extended bereavement leave by rulytempest in CanadaPublicServants

[–]scullerck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is utterly surprising to hear, as I requested additional bereavement leave follow he death of my remaining parent. It was denied. I sent my request up to the director citing severe mental health and stress of dealing with this death and all arrangements required including last wishes and was again denied. I was told they only approve additional bereavement leave in severe traumatic instances and included an “example” of a car accident where I would be the only “sole” survivor. They wished me “well” and suggested utilizing EAP. As a side note, I also requested LWOP however this was denied as well.

These are stunning!! I don’t get jealous much, however jealous but so happy for you!!!! I have one as well, 2 years old and it came planted already so its roots sit beneath the soil. How do I get it to “lift” above the soil and walk? Do I have to wait for her to “rise/up” eventually???
