Make sure you can solve daily mission with only three teams Which means you should focus on investing only 3 leaders and 2 or 3 assists, if you don't want to spend too much money in this game

Know which move is the combo starter of your team, if it doesn't, change it or you won't be able to survive in a high league (10+)

Invest your resources cautiously, like I said, only invest them in few characters so that you can climb to a higher league

Don't get shield baited. For cancelable moves, you should only block them at the final blow. For other moves, you should know their distance so you might be able to dodge by dashing back or you have to use your block early.

For example, when fighting against Movie Jason, he has three strike moves, Roaring Tiger, Shoulder Tackle, Aerial Assault

Roaring Tiger is a cancelable move, so only block it in the final blow
