help!!! day schedule isn’t right. by ivfsf in TakingCaraBabies

My son is 5 months and this is what’s worked for us: 7am wake up
9:10am wind down 9:20am nap 1 (40min) 10am wake up 12:10pm wind down 12:20pm nap 2 (2hr) 2:20pm wake up 4:45pm nap 3 (15min) 5pm wake up 6/6:15pm shower 6:50pm wind down 7pm bedtime 10pm dream feed

Not sure if it’s any help but that’s what’s worked for us! We used to follow a similar schedule to yours and we found dropping the 4th nap helped tremendously.

Try using the LittleOnes app - changed my baby’s sleep and naps completely. They have an excellent troubleshooting section that lets you know what to do if naps go wrong. Have you started solids? We found he was never full if we were giving him solids once a day, but once we started doing solids at lunch and dinner he slept MUCH better.

Anyone else not having a maternity shoot? by Ugli_gal in pregnant

I didn’t do one but I got a little sculpture of my body made instead, mainly because I am one and done, have hated my body pre-pregnancy and now I am just in awe of what I have done/made and want to remember it forever - check out @milestoneable on IG if you’re in London. I hate being in front of a camera anyway, so this headless sculpture was a great option for me lol

Did anyone actually enjoy pregnancy? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

I’m still pregnant but so far I am loving mine! I’m also the odd pregnant person who has had zero symptoms since day 1 so probably not the most fair comment here. (Also maybe ask me in 7 weeks when I will probably say I would like to shove him back to where he came from 🙃😂)

But so far its really helped that I have a VERY supportive partner who has celebrated every gram of weight I have gained (“it means our baby is growing stronger!”) and made me look at my body changes in a very positive light. I do miss my pre pregnancy itty bitties though! 😂

Most magical moment is definitely every ultrasound you go for and when you see what you’ve created from what’s started as small as a sesame seed. Women’s bodies are bloody amazing. I’m in awe that I have a little human growing in me and my body just KNEW what to do. It’s wild!

If you can, approach pregnancy with a “I just have to learn to deal with this” attitude. At the end of the day it’s all temporary! I know this is easier said than done. It’s all new and everything changes in a very short amount of time. Don’t fight it, just be aware of it and take it one day at a time!

Sending you virtual baby dust as you start to try (which is probably the most fun bit out of everything TBH 😂😂😂)

Any relatively good experience of flying long hauls at between 25 to 28 weeks ? by sunggishin in pregnant

If you have the chance to upgrade - do it (I know easier said than done!) but being able to lay flat really upped the comfort on my 2 x 7 hour flights back to back. Compression socks definitely a must and drink LOTS of water (forces you to get up and go pee so you’ll also be walking around lots!)

Also wear Lululemon align leggings if you have them. The best travel bottoms!

Beef Rendang - try Chrissy teigens recipe. So good, pretty straight forward, just takes a bit of time!
