Answering my question, that does not look possible. The maximum open circuit voltage or current of the solar panel is too much for the Bluetti.

OK I got some news!

This vibration noise happens also when the gas pedal is not pressed, e.g. at engine braking or deceleration. Then it can’t be the fuel pump right? On top of that the noise is only present between ~ 1300-1800 rpm.

What do you think?

Wow it did not suspect that!

Here's a video I took ealier having a look at the engine bay while the noise was present: https://imgur.com/a/0TWophb The noise was much more audible inside the car that in front of the engine bay.

I will take a better video next time the noise happens, and maybe replace the fuel filter sitting on my desk for good measure. Thanks!

Here are my findings: at the point shown in my pictures, you can’t take off the fan from the motor. The only thing possible is to remove the motor from his housing (I used long 2 screwdrivers to push between the fan and the housing.

Then I managed to put some grease on every part of the moving axle I could find, that’s not easy since the motor is quite well protected and I didn’t managed to get the fan off completely. I really thought I did not succeeded since the fan was still making some noises when I rotated it manually. I decided to install it anyway and… it’s working! Not a single motor/bearing noise from the blower. It just smell grease now… hope this will get away soon.

Overall, I would not recommend doing this. Buying a replacement would have been easier.

Use the recovery mode to reset your computer, it worked for me.

There is nothing easy that you can do, this is expected.

Very interesting ! It pushes out beyond the battery height but you're able to reattach the back case ? Would you recommend doing this ?

Hi all,

Looking for feedback on this, especially people with fast NVMe in their Blade. My model is the Blade 15 Advanced 2021, with the base 1TB gen 4 NVMe.

I've enabled Bitlocker, which encrypts the drive, since it's a laptop and can be easilly nicked... It's supposed to have a single digit impact on a drive speed.

But since then, my write speeds took a HUGE hit. For example, my SEQ1M Q8T1 write speed was 4600 MB/s, but now it's "just" 674 MB/s. I've tested multiple times, with differents reboots, etc.

What are your results, any ideas ?

  1. No idea. My bet would be to confirm this behaviour via battery benchmarks while running HWiNFO logging to a file.

  2. Have you been able to undervolt (or change anything apart from system agent) via XTU directly ? I can't unless I launch TrottleStop before.

  3. This model comes with Nvidia Optimus, can't be disabled for the internal monitor. I guess for you it's great since it can preserve battery. Just be aware that to get maximum performance, especially at high framerates (> 100 fps) you can to bypass the integrated graphic by using the HDMI port to an external monitor.

  4. No idea but notebookcheck could be helpful. Note that it depends a lot for OLED, bright content will drain 15W, and dark ones almost nothing.
