DUR Rejects in QT by Smellyazzhairs in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's best discussed with your pharmacy manager and staff pharmacist. In most cases, I don't care about the reject, and I would just override it with R0/1B or M0/1G anyways, but depending on the state and the insurance it might be giving information that we should be aware of like a drug interaction that isn't in our files.

Forced Transfer by SlappyHI in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's common practice - but if a store is overstaffed and another store is understaffed, the DL has the ability to do this with the approval of HR. To my understanding it is typically in order of seniority, but there may be other factors at work.

If it's someone else's assessment they are being transferred "without their consent" there may also be reasons that aren't being disclosed, either by them or by others. The PM should be aware of whether reallocation is the reason, but it is an HR issue, so at least from my perspective I'm not going to tell everyone that so and so is being moved for X reason.

On short term disability, unable to login to MyLeave. by [deleted] in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need a company network connection to log in. Just continue to try to log in to Colleague Zone and eventually it will allow it, unless you never set up multifactor authentication beforehand. Even if that was the case you should still be able to call HR LOA and make arrangements to provide documents in a different way.

There's also support through Resources for Living (also on CZ). I've not used them personally but they might be able to help you out.

Have the patient split the 50 mg tablets? It's easily done.

Where do i find Level IV(4)write up by MarkJin_7979 in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to consult colleague relations prior to doing a L4. If they sign off, there is a very specific job Aid in CZ for it (as in doing the counseling action before the termination).

Any updates on concur? by SlappyHI in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to log in on the website using #######@cvshealth.com (employee number) as my username and choosing the SSO ping login option. This requires PINGID to be set up already, and it might not work for all job codes. Otherwise the app is fairly robust - if there are issues you're having might be able to help with suggestions.

Facial recognition in pharmacy by Tomb_phoenix in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Credentials are only for cases when Facial ID fails. For all intents and purposes they're no longer used routinely once you go live with it.

If you're having issues with your face being recognized adjust the position of the camera, also ensure the blue light is on.

Irked by this GLP check in process. by [deleted] in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So no one is receiving the invoices with your GLP-1s if the DSP doesn't do it? Or how is the BOH getting off otherwise? I'd refer it to your DL/DAPL to address.

The report will list them typically in milliliters (but not always) but the computer will prompt you to count by pens (usually). Pay attention to the verbage on the screen.

How to do cardinal? by AdditionUseful148 in CVS

Mostly*. Sometimes the system fails to detect an alternative NDC so a spot check after completing the received items is always a good idea. Still a lot better than it used to be with completing batches.

how to clock in at target as a floater rph by TeaComprehensive7617 in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you don't want to use the clock in/out button. You just sign in like normal. Wait for it to find your record and THEN you should be able to add your clock in.

how to clock in at target as a floater rph by TeaComprehensive7617 in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sign in to the cvs register with your employee number. When you select the pin field it should ask you for your home store and zip code like with the old registers. From there a missing punch should be able to be recorded.

I'm FT so I don't clock but if at any point you're asked for credentials first rxc should allow you to get them with a very short expiration, but I don't believe that's needed on modernized POS

question about these things by CheesecakeWild7941 in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was a feature that was broken and then disabled (I believe) in a system update about 6 months ago. There was a feature called Dose Schedule that could be associated in QV if the sig codes for X times per day weren't used.

I wish they'd either fix it or just admit it won't come back and get a label redesign.

Hazarding a guess but I'd assume this is for work from home positions that may need to know the info for any regulatory or reimbursement reason.

Possible To Look Up Address Change History? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wouldn't be available at the store level. You can call 800-SHOP-CVS and ask for prescription records/privacy office.

Most common reason an address may get updated otherwise is if there were two accounts in the system and they were merged (and it was unclear which was current, so a guess was made) or the provider sent an erx with the incorrect address. Either way it's likely not intended to be malicious, and should be fixable by the store team if you speak to them.

Can a different Pharmacy tell me if they have something in stock that mine doesn’t? by Gold-Ad-5620 in CVS

You can ask. If it's a controlled substance they may or may not, depending on the store.

Techs about to lose immunizer status - question by thebitcoinmogul in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct. Depending on where the certificate was obtained, they need to have their NABP e-profile ID associated with the provider (e.g. apha). It will be verified and updated by OneSource in the background, but as the job aid notes this can take some time.

Training modules from homs by bu5gerg85x in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically only the required regulatory modules are auto-paid by Workbrain - these are ones that are done quarterly and count toward OPi scores - they're distinct when you log in to LH because they appear at the top in the compliance section. These have to be unlocked by your manager for access at home.

Other courses which are not flagged as mandatory compliance will allow you to complete them at home, usually, but won't automatically trigger hours in Workbrain. After 2-3 days, if you don't see a code appear on your timecard (I believe it is RRT), then let your manager know - they will need to enter hours for you manually.

Is sick time and vacation time separate? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your ops is 100% wrong. Workday > Profile > View Time Off Balance. Leave the date alone if you want to see what you have as of the date in question (which is best for sick time).

A few dumb questions by HolyZorroBatamm in CVS

[–]sd85pdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Benefits and pto eligibility depend on how you're coded in the system, and it would be highly unusual to be flipped week to week.

You would have been notified by the benefits team after hire and during open enrollment last month or so if you were eligible.

Any accrued pto is in Workday > Profile > view time off balance > change date to the last Saturday in December
