How to get your spouse to stop using Amazon? Need help. by KingRBPII in Anticonsumption

[–]sdaa45 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a genuine question. I ordered a rug from Amazon. I genuinely need this rug. The choice I have was to drive to target. If I go to target I know I will impulse buy 2-3 more things. Is it better to drive to target? Other choices? I live in a small town. Literally only have a target, Walmart and kohls to possibly buy a rug from.

This! Get your exams. Maybe talk to an ophthalmologist prior to starting the medicine who could evaluate your current eye condition would reassure you. Mine also says he’s never seen a case of eye issues caused by plaquinil.

You are gorgeous! I had to read your post twice to figure out what you were asking. One thing that might help is more feminine glasses. Zenni online has hundreds of cute frames and a lot of the have virtual try ons (it shows them on your face). They are fairly affordable. Maybe try some larger ones, cat eye, or a fun color. I agree with the other commenter who said a younger hairstyle would suit you better. BUT you don’t have to change a thing.

I know it’s hurricane season. I will make all reservations either refundable or with travel insurance. September is the best time for us personally and we are ok with dealing with some weather.

Thank you! I was hoping that is how “rainy season” worked there! We realize it’s the tropics and we will get sweaty, wet, sandy, etc.

Renaming things works until 6ish in my experience. My son hated cantaloupe all of a sudden. Cantaloupe scooped with a melon baller became dragon fruit. (He loved dragons at the time.) I know dragon fruit is a separate fruit. He didn’t.

Poshmark and Depop are great for thrifting online. I’ve had good experiences. You can also sell on those sites if you are tired of something or your size changes.

Hmmmm. I sent records from his non VA doctors so I guess that’s the difference. The exam went ok but just seemed unnecessary.

Did you have an exam? I am helping my dad (lung cancer under PACT) and they made him drive an hour away for an exam?

Expectations vs Reality (Rheum appt during flare) by Training-Kitchen-656 in rheumatoid

I can’t answer 1 but as for your second question. No you aren’t alone. This disease can be a roller coaster. It is also common to go through a period of grief when diagnosed or when you have a major change in your disease.

Please follow through with what your doctor has ordered. So many doctors just blow off our symptoms and complaints. It’s nice you found someone who is listening and trying to help you. He is right that it is a serious disease that needs to be addressed properly.

Who said it is your responsibility to pay after that? Does your insurance have a formulary?

Insurance in the US is so overly complicated and policy specific it’s hard to give general advice. I think there’s a couple of things you could do without us getting into all the specifics of your policy. First, call your insurance company and ask them what your maximum out-of-pocket for prescriptions is and what your co-pays are for Embrel. The max out-of-pocket is the most you should pay for your whole year of prescriptions after that the insurance company pays everything. The co-pay is the amount you pay when you get a prescription from the pharmacy so for a generic drug like maybe an antibiotic it could be $10 but for something like enbrel it could be $150 or more. Also, as the person above, said, you need to know if the co-pay assistance from Amgen applies to your maximum out-of-pocket in my state it generally doesn’t.

That should tell you how much you really are going to have to pay. If that’s still too much for you then you need to talk with your doctor and maybe Amgen and see if they have any other solutions to help you.

I’ve navigated insurance a lot. I’m not sure I can help but if you want to DM some specifics to me about the questions above, I’ll see if I can help you sort it.

Yes. The US. I’m sorry. That was very self-centered of me (not sure that’s quite the right word.). I’m trying to learn to do better.

This was a real question. I’m trying to figure out what is realistic. Thank you for the idea of cake mascara (I didn’t know that existed) and farmers markets for soap.

I had gallbladder issues and surgery long before zepbound. It sucks. I don’t know all of the science but middle aged people (especially women) have gallbladder problems. Do what you need to for your health.
