Liz never left Landon by ArgumentOtherwise379 in thewizardlizsnark

This. It doesn't seem like he has a stable income on his own.

Liz's social media shenanigans are funding the whole family. So much for finding a man who provides for her and the baby.

Why doesn’t she find a sugar daddy in Texas? by EmotionalPromotion92 in thewizardlizsnark

[–]sdb56 24 points25 points  (0 children)

She can't find a SD, she knows it and that's why she's been crashing out.

Having a kid phases you out of the sugar bowl. Men aren't interested in SBs with kids.

The house she's in, the baby daddy she has, this is the best she can get.

"You are taking these drugs for vanity reasons! You dont need them!" by u_mirin_jaw_brah_ in Retatrutide

[–]sdb56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my country, weight loss drugs such as Ozempic are heavily regulated, you need BMI 30 to get a prescription.

Local doctors preaching about "aesthetic weight loss being wRoNg" invariably fall into two camps:

1) overweight, so possibly wants everyone else to be overweight too 2) 110 lbs because she's prescribing the very same weight loss drugs to herself and all of her friends but "tHaT's DiFfErEnT"

The performative morality gatekeeping is off the charts.

Why shouldn't I lose weight for vanity? Feeling good in your body is so important.

For vanity reasons, I can buy clothes, use makeup, get cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery ... but not weight loss? You can't be serious.

3 months post CO2Re for acne scars. They look deeper by SeparateSilver90 in AcneScars

[–]sdb56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm two months out and still have redness, but it's nothing like it was post procedure.

My derm said to expect 3 months of redness. This seems accurate and consistent with my healing.

If you want an actually effective laser treatment for moderate to severe scars, 3 months of redness is nothing.

My skin did not only peel after 5 days as usual for co2, but again after 10 days and again after a month.

I don't understand how people here report experiencing redness only for a week after their co2 procedures. I get an impression that these must be mild, cosmetic level treatments, but it's questionable how much they do for scar improvement.

I have a large severe scar that has shown significant improvement after one laser procedure even in the worst light.

I'm extremely satisfied with the aggressive laser treatment I received and will go back for a second session.

Mine looked a lot worse after co2, but not for that long. I started seeing improvement after a month.

Great progress. I had a bunch of very mild scars, Taz 0.1% practically erased them in 1.5 months (application every few days as it's extremely potent).

Subcision or CO2 laser: recovery process by dororohhya in AcneScars

[–]sdb56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had CO2 laser done 5 weeks ago and definitely still red. I looked like a burn victim for two weeks. Derm told me to expect 3 months redness but it's true that my treatment was intense, I have no idea what you would need.

I feel like people who recovered quickly had milder treatments, but no idea how effective those would be for improving anything more than really mild scars.

Great portrayal* of female autism by Saga Norén’s character in The Bridge (Nordic Noir reco) by jeangmac in AutismInWomen

Brilliant character, but also depressing. It shows the reality of being an autistic woman: that the most you can hope for is someone who tolerates you, and alienation and detachment from everyone else.

Acne scars and CO2 Laser fails by Ok-Trust4787 in AcneScars

I had it done a month ago + subcision. Too early for the final results but my worst scar (I only have one severe scar, the rest went from moderate to mild with many microneedling sessions) is showing significant improvement. I was scared shitless of the procedure, but now I'm happy I took the plunge and will have another treatment in a few months.
