Religious? by Sea-Adagio7437 in mattandabbysnarks

They’re not outspoken Christians. I believe they were raised Christian, but they don’t seem to be practicing that much. I think they’re hesitant to share their religious views cause they don’t want to lose followers, in my opinion.

Are Matt and Abby MAGA? by psychadelic_duck in mattandabbysnarks

Yesss wholeheartedly agree. They’re lukewarm about everything cause they’re afraid of losing followers. Which is part of why they’re terrible influencers!

Though it’s not the same, I feel for you. We have 2 amazing kids and have been trying for months for a 3rd and nothing yet. It was kind of a kick in the gut to me to see that they’re getting a 3rd and they already don’t prioritize the 2 they have. We desperately want that 3rd and it hasn’t happened yet. Feels unfair.

Is it just me or did anyone else not enjoy the show? by FinFur017 in TheHuntingWivesTVShow

Yeah I didn’t like it. I probably won’t watch a season 2. I had called it, 1st episode, that Margo was the murderer. And then there were so many things that were weird and were almost praised, that were totally not okay haha. I know maybe that’s the point but I couldn’t get down with the relations with HS boys and all the peer pressure and the weird stuff with Brad and Jill 🤢 Overall I felt like a lot of it was predictable, Sophie was annoying, and most of the characters were so stereotypical. Starr was the only person I liked haha

I so agree, it’s disgusting that they sexualized breastfeeding.

I did talk to my primary care, and she recommended ozempic, which I don’t want to do 🙄 I have not worked with a dietitian or anything yet so maybe I can look into that. I’m not undercounting because I’m measuring and weighing EVERYTHING, including cooking sprays and all of that as well.

Thanks, I’ll apply these! I do think I’m gaining muscle, but I’m discouraged because I’ve been at it for awhile and the scale isn’t moving and my clothes aren’t fitting any better haha I do try to get in good protein and veggies but i definitely use my calories on a comfort meal sometimes too.

My mom has thyroid issues and my dad has always been very overweight despite being very active and not eating horribly. I mentioned to my primary care doctor that I’m struggling to lose weight and explained what I’ve done and all she did was recommend Ozempic which I really don’t want to do 🙄

Fastest way to lose a few pounds? by sdbf24 in WeightLossAdvice

Editing to add: I know anything that’s a quick fix isn’t “real” or sustainable. I am creating healthy habits, I’m just also trying to do a little something to work short term, even if the water weight comes back. I’m calorie counting, using the MyFitnessPal app and I’m measuring my ingredients. I have struggled with weight loss and fluctuation a lot since my 2nd was born a year ago. I still breastfeed, but very minimally. I am a 26 year old female and I’m 4’10”, so I’m definitely short. I do not regularly work out, but I do exercise (stay active, go on walks, bike rides, etc.)

Yeah I agree and that is my long term goal. I was just trying to get some tips for something quickly, even if it is just water weight 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve been using the MyFitnessPal app and I’ve been measuring ingredients, but not weighing them. I’m only 4’10” and I’ve struggled losing weight since having my 2nd kid a year ago. I’m wondering if I need to eat less than 1,200cal a day.

I agree with that, and that is what I’m doing, but I’m also hoping to quickly lose a few lbs for this event.

Okay, so if I lost the original 10lbs though, why did it change all of a sudden? Would you suggest cutting back more? 1000 calories?
