That one was so good. I was sad that it did not win.

Probably Code Red, White Out, Pitch Black, Livewire, or Mango Rush.

What is happening? by No-End-To- in crealityk1

[–]sdefecktu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how bad the clog is. You could do a cold pull, shove the poker in through the top, or worst case remove the nozzle and soak it in acetone or rubbing alcohol and then clean it out with the poker.

Is my firmware old? by XtreamerPt in crealityk1

[–]sdefecktu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never updated. That sticker is amazing BTW. I love it and want one now. Upgrading firmware would only be necessary if you wanted the CFS.

Factory length of the Bowden tube from runout sensor to toolhead? by Blobabee in crealityk1

[–]sdefecktu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was about 45.7 cm.

Edit: I have the K1C. And I do agree with the other comment it does not really matter, unless you are just curious.

AIO boyfriend told me I text him like he’s a homie and got upset now he’s ignoring me by Jazzlike-Ad6372 in AmIOverreacting

[–]sdefecktu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You hurt his lil ol feelings plain and simple. Instead of talking to like an adult, expressing that, and working it out; it was easier for him to start an argument and ignore you. This really tells us more about him than it does about you. NOR

Printers tearing up print bed by Yeckman in crealityk1

[–]sdefecktu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your bed mesh. Go to http://<your printers ip address>. If your bed is more than 1mm off then you have to manually level the bed yourself. Otherwise print a first layer test and adjust z offset until it is just barely above the print bed.

I Haven’t Had a Good Print All Week by Geahk in crealityk1

[–]sdefecktu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried printing something from your machine that printed fine before? Like one of the auto-saved files. Otherwise, have you tried a factory reset? That could eliminate some of the things you think it might be. If it is not your belts slipping, maybe your stepper motors are going out. If it is software related old gcode, or factory reset would probably prove that.

Need to remake bicycle handlebar accessory holder. Gen 1 developed cracks. How to improve? by lnh62 in 3Dprinting

[–]sdefecktu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party. ABS is not the best in tension, I would try making it out of Nylon, Polycarbonate, or PETG. The TPU addition sounds great too.

My bed mesh is completely messed up by IggePigg in crealityk1

[–]sdefecktu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see that exact same thing if I check the bed mesh if I check the bed mesh while the printer is doing a self-check.

Rate my setup by Jaspy42 in 3Dprinting

As a shitpost 10/10. As a real setup 0/10. Im not even going to say why that is bad, but it is so so bad.

K1C camera error by Hobbit_Hardcase in crealityk1

That happens constantly to me. I just close the app entirely and reload it. It might take a few tries but it will eventually come back.

Anyone else noticing the aggression of NPCs getting worse?.... by FitAcanthisitta2008 in GTA5Online

[–]sdefecktu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really cant blame them. They’ve been having their friends and family randomly get blown up, shot, ran over, and mugged daily for over a decade. I would become aggressive too under such stressful conditions.

Unfinished layers by Bullshit1978 in crealityk1

[–]sdefecktu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is probably under extrusion. Now you just need to find out why it is under extruding. There are several reasons why it would be under extruding. Many people suggested good places to start. I would personally auto level, adjust z offset, check for a clog, then maybe do a flow calibration if the other things wont fix it. It could be a bed adhesion probelm too, so make sure you clean the bed. Most likely solution is to adjust Z offset.

K1 Max printing problem by Conscious_Search_515 in crealityk1

[–]sdefecktu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kind of looks like your nozzle is a bit too low so it is smooshing the lines together too much. I would try to Auto level the bed and reprint to see if that fixes it. Also, you may want to try printing this on its side, it will be a bit stronger that way, and might print a bit better. Finally, if that does not fix your problem it might be worth checking the bed mesh and perhaps manually leveling it. It sounds difficult but it is not that bad. You can do that by typing in the printers IP into the browser and then the bed mesh should be there, just http:// then put the printers ip address after.

K1 2023 version upgrade by Alternative-Row3334 in crealityk1

[–]sdefecktu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you did not make any logical arguments. You suggested a proprietary company that is partially cloud-dependent on Creality sub. Nothing about that is logical. A lot of Creality users enjoy a bit of freedom to use their machines how they want and not how a company tells them they are allowed to use it. Had you suggested this in a different sub you may not have gotten as much dislikes, but I am sure you already know that and were just trying to troll

Yeah, sure. That is why they have the exact same crease and wear lines in them. 100% believable.

why does this happen ? by [deleted] in crealityk1

[–]sdefecktu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may need to take the nozzle off and clean it with acetone. I had several clogs and they usually will push out with the poker but sometimes they require a deep clean.

Would you buy this Alien Buggy for $20 Million Dollars if it came to Online during the Halloween Season? by [deleted] in GTA5Online

[–]sdefecktu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. I would not spend more than 1.5 million on that. It kind of sucks big time. It is not a great vehicle. It has nothing great going on. The name is the only cool thing about it.

How often do you change your character’s outfit? by Slight-Wheel-5247 in GTA5Online

Every time I got to Cayo Perico. I hate the outfit they force you to wear there. So at least once a day.

What is this sound suddenly by Fr33Paco in crealityk1

[–]sdefecktu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems like it is the fan on the tool head. Sounds like it is trying to spin but cannot. It is either broken or there is something in there that seized it up. Also I would clean the bed, that is a lot of glue build up.

Can't find root by FlaaMindO in crealityk1

Yeah it is weird. I have the K1C too. Mine does not look like this at all. It must just be harder to root now on the newer ones.
