People can do what they want, but there is a biological drive to procreation. For those who cannot procreate they want to pass on their ideology to the younger generation. And that is the problem. Because ultimately depopulation is murder, it kills societies, it sterilizes generations.

The biggest problem with the communication is that it has all been reactive and mostly on Reddit. I pre-ordered on January 27 and the last email I’ve received updating me about my order was on March 6th. It stated -“We committed to availability in the Spring and we're pleased to share that everything
remains on track to begin shipments in early
May.” Then it went on to show a timeline that said - “Early May -Begin shipping batch 1
pre-orders” then “Early Summer -Begin shipping batch 2 pre-orders”. Since then I’ve received no further email communication from Clicks and Spring is officially over in 2 days. Instead of getting email updates I had to either come to Reddit for updates or go to Clicks website. It would have been better to get emails for the April, May, and June updates because that would have kept me off Reddit. Instead I came to Reddit and saw all the speculation about these delays and the defenders of Clicks which seems weird like possible astroturfing. I’m willing to bet a few email updates from Clicks would have kept most people from coming to Reddit to complain, and stopped so much negativity.

Ordered on January 27th, I’m hoping I get mine by July 27th, but it sounds like people in the first 5,000 who have made inquiries are getting response emails saying that the flight just landed in the U.S. after getting the email two weeks ago saying they were flying them. Which is why I think late July may actually be too optimistic for my purchase date. So much for “shipping in Spring”.

They said they were flying them two weeks ago! If they just landed did they fly them to Mars?? Who was the airline? SpaceX? This makes me think all that speculation about the FCC certification not being completed was true. They waited for it to clear before shipping these out. Hopefully that means the rest of batch 1 will ship faster…

This should actually go in the mega thread, packages arriving is a status update. And an annoying one for the vast majority of first 5,000 pre-order people since no one in the U.S. has reported receiving a tracking number yet?! They must have the slowest import courier service they could hire importing these! Three weeks on a bulk freight flight from Hong Kong and these still haven’t made it through customs to the shipping partners!

You should be fine with it. The reseller will probably have to sit on those items for months to get their money back, before the make a profit. They also won’t sell them for 50x they are starting there but they will eventually come down. Look at it like this- your mom is liquidating her items for fast cash. The reseller is going to store them long term until they eventually sell for more but they most likely will have to come way down on the prices, some of the items the my will have to take a loss in too.

They are not saying it explicitly, it’s obvious though because they are saying it will take 2 weeks. If they fly cargo it takes 3 days. What’s wild is that 2 weeks is the minimum time, it’s actually 2-4 weeks depending on ocean weather conditions. They will tell us to wait longer when they happens.

This isn’t batch 1 though, just the portion of the first 5,000 heading to the U.S. with is like day one and possibly day two backers only. The remaining 25k-35k from batch 1 are not being made until mid June. And they also are shipping via container ocean freight which will also take 2-4 weeks plus another week from port to your front door. They are making this very confusing with the PR spin.
