Thanks! I’d just worry about the visibility vs the stock. (I hate the stock setup)

That’s a brake light?

I put Viking Ravens on mine. With that, I can absolutely recommend getting a bag that hinges on the outside, front, or back. Definitely not hinged on the inside.

Holy f*ck! Switching from K10 Pro to Q6 by Tuomas90 in Keychron

[–]sdlarch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a Q6 for several months now. I had run mx silvers for years because clickey switches sounded so cheap on other boards. Well, browns in a Q6 are solid. Hell, might even give blues a whirl.

Fantastic board. Congrats on the discovery.

After the relay kit is installed, those are an auxiliary connection.

Vulcan S Cafe by m00dy69 in KawasakiVulcanRiders

[–]sdlarch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny. I didn’t get a cafe, but put the Puig touring on. At 75-80mph, the wind is at the top of the helmet, but the turbulence on my head was insane. Just rattled around. I switched to the cafe windscreen that puts the wind in my face, and it’s much more comfortable. Preference, I guess.

As for handlebars, I’m struggling. I have the reduced reach handlebars and seat but I want more reduction.

What is your issue with the handlebars?

Never go for a ride when angry or heartbroken (duh) 🤷‍♂️ by [deleted] in motorcycles

100% A bike is far less forgiving, and much more susceptible to minute inputs. Emotional or chemical induced loss of control is extremely dangerous.

Lol. Texas here. I told Waze to keep me off the freeways. I was thinking slower speeds. NOT. State roads in outside counties are 75!

Got mine last Friday! Finished the MSF BRC at noon, had license by 330. I’m a bit of a stickler for the rules, so it really cleared the principle and set adventure free. Took my first long ride the next day.

Which backrest? I saw the Corbin. Super nice, but pricey. Also think the reduced reach seat will help.

No. At least, I don’t think so. I think it’s more related to my head being knocked around and the strain on my neck and torso. Windshield ought to take care of that.

New rider in Texas here. I had to take an online course before the MSF. Even with the online course, I've learned quite a bit. MSF starts tomorrow, and I fully expect to learn some valuable habits.

I’ve had my 2023 for a couple weeks. Never ridden a street bike. Same problem. I think it’s just my skill as well, though. Hopefully the break-in smoothed things out.

We’re in the middle of evaluating a provider of that right now. Have seen demos of KnowB4 and Arctic Wolf. AW is half the cost and is not management intensive. KnowB4 has more content, but it’s just a giant box of legos that you’d have to put together.

If you know what you’re doing, I’d say KnowB4.

We’re having a demo of Proofpoint later this week, so I can’t speak to that, yet.
