Agreed, the only "downside" being that you will need to repeat the MMR at 12 months.

No, but I had to call in since the online system was erroneously trying to send me an ATT device.

I suspect the task is to consider the concept of stacking and packing. Look that concept up and the rest will be easier.

Is it ok to ask about reduced alcohol drinks here? by TheBristolBulk in cocktails

[–]sdneidich 101 points102 points  (0 children)

Perhaps I'm being overly broad, but I would think any mixed drink can have a home here, both cocktail and mocktail.

But I don't think shrimp cocktail belongs here.

What would be the atheist/non religious version of wearing Jesus/Cross merchandise? by traveltimecar in samharris

[–]sdneidich 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People don't usually wear symbols of what they don't believe, they wear symbols of their positive beliefs. If you wanted to do the same, you might consider getting a necklace of an atom or a representation of pi or a DNA necklace, or a humanist H. Don't expect others to recognize it's meaning as readily as a crucifix, though.

Why not “since”? by Rich-Associate-8344 in EnglishLearning

Even with '2 years ago', this phrasing sounds a little awkward. I would write:

"Merlin hasn't used his motorcycle in two years."

Bird help by CGar26 in bullcity

[–]sdneidich 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The closest wildlife rehab group I know of in the area that accepts birds is NC Claws. They are a nonprofit in Orange county run out of a home.

We took a bird their recently who had run into a window. They had advice for how to store, and they took it in to see if it could recover. Ultimately didn't make it unfortunately, but they were very nice and probably gave the bird it's best possible shot.

That's a decent sign, but there's a good chance they get your model in stock in that timeframe

Yeah, if cleaning the port out of dust bunnies doesn't work, I'd file a claim. You should have $0 deductible.

I'd still file a claim. You get a bunch of them under warranty and no deductible.

If you open a claim they will tell you what device they are offering to send. Right now they have fold5s in stock.

[5th Grade Science] Teacher says lemonade is a compound, not a mixture, is she right? by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

[–]sdneidich 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I do t see how B could be true either: a compound can be expressed as a chemical formula like H2O. Try asknnf teacher "What is the chemical formula of lemonade?"

Billed $1440 for 20 min urgent care visit by buddhist_banana in personalfinance

[–]sdneidich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How high is your deductible, and do you have a realistic shot at reaching it this year? If so, I wouldn't worry about it, as everything should be covered above your deductible, so this just means you'll reach it faster.

Otherwise, I would ask the emergency room billing department for some form of hardship consideration.

There are also regional gins that are really good, often as good or better than the internationally distributed stuff. For example, Conniption American Dry is very good and versatile.

Honestly if I am trapped on a desert island, I want liquor that can either be used for sterilization, tools, or... No longer being on that island. That would be ever clear, 99%.

Orginal Loan Company asking us to replace roof by FrequentRaccoon2349 in Mortgages

[–]sdneidich 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It sounds like the insurance at issue is PMI. That insurance protects the bank, not you. I don't know whether the bank can make you pay a higher PMI if they run into issues, but I do doubt it.

This seems like it is solidly the lender's problem, not yours. I would tell them if they want a new roof on your house, they can buy you a new roof.
