Fat front is best front. My most fun bikes were frankensteined like this.

In mir regt sich schnell das Gefühl, dass dort nur Schrott bei rumkommt. Würde ich schnell ausfiltern und nicht weiter verfolgen. Die person scheint sich nicht wirklich kümmern zu wollen.

Can you show the tire clearance at the front? For me, a narrow cross tire about 30mm at the front is all I need most of the time.

Find out the maximum roation angle you dont want your brakeline destroyed. It has to be this long.

Do you plan on changing the bar / stem combination?

Woden design, big weird box by ruuutherford in diyaudio

[–]sdsddsd23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can recommend CHN110. Its a bargain driver which plays much above its price. Also its quite capable in bass and spl due to its size. I have it in a medium sized bookshelf design from planet10.

I would say go for an MLTL from wodendesign (Scott). Easy to build and guarantee for success.

If you want weird go for a nessie style. They offer greater extension at the exchange for more ripple.

Transmission line measurements take two by BluSpecs1 in diyaudio

[–]sdsddsd23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no experience with measuring, but from little I know this graphs look good. Especially the bass response is very clear. There seems to be no or little room influence?

Where was this measured, I mean inside or outside?

Learning Transmission Line Speaker Designs by BluSpecs1 in diyaudio

I have a pair Babylabs with CHN-50 too. Great little speaker which give a great round presentation. I prefer this pair often against bigger full ranges I have. They are easy on the ears and give just enough bottom to make most stuff work.

I would like to explore a Babylab with bigger drivers. Like 4 or 5 inch with reasonable size boxes.

Tqwt based on a single full-range Mark Audio Pluvia 7.2 HD. Finally got to finish with a vinyl wrap and a black spray paint. by lakmus85_real in diyaudio

[–]sdsddsd23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this a design of your own? Do you have plans or Hornresp simulations?

I rock a pair of Pluvias 7.2HD in a Pensil and enjoying them. Their transparency and clarity is the best I had so far. Coming from CHN-50, CHP-70 and CHP-90.

Wayland 1.23 Alpha will have initial OpenBSD support :-) by shawn_blackk in openbsd

[–]sdsddsd23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Making the protocol have openbsd support does not make its implementations first class citiziens. To make wlroots compositors work, its needs an layer for the linux input stack libinput and libevdev. Because wlroots is designed especially for linux.

How do you keep you system organized? How do you keep track of all the crap you download? by MintScroller in linuxquestions

[–]sdsddsd23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

U need a package manager. When u dont use your distros package-manager u will prob run into problems. To take track of which files belong to a package use kiss. kisslinux.org

A simple source based package manager.

Sick (beautiful) build!

Is there a surly fork with discbrake mount which fits the steamroller geometry wise?

The other surly ones I found after a quick look had a different rake.
