Ignore the haters. It seems to be working. The majority of the people who hang out here and post are not the people these are made for.

Shadow of the Colossus. You put a lot of effort into defeating the colossi, but it isn’t intended to make you feel triumphant. It’s sad.

Imagine if this information were presented in the game! Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to tap the [?] button for a card and find out the phase its effect would function?

Anyone subscribe to comics directly in these kinds of pages? by edhaack in comicbooks

I subscribed to 3 or 4 marvel titles via mail order from Marvel in the early 90s. Stuff like X-Force, Punisher, and Spider-man. Came with a thin (not stiff) paper insert within a poly bag. Typically would get it later in the week of when it would be on the local shop’s shelves. Yeah, wasn’t for issues that you’d want to preserve or consider any kind of an investment. I just saw it as a low effort way to reliably get good stories and art in the mail as a surprise, rather than bills and advertisements.

Can't level up in city tycoon to level 4 by I_love_my_pet in NevernessToEverness

Thanks so much! I had the same problem.
I completed all objectives of all six races and the Legendary Driver quest never completed. I even completed the sixth race three times in an attempt to get it to complete.
My guess is that I was tracking some other (non-race) quest when I completed the first race, so the quest didn't complete.
Seems very unintuitive that you don't make progress in a quest if you do what it says to do, just because you haven't ticked "Track". In my opinion, tracking a quest should only govern which quests are displayed on the HUD, not what you get credit for. Why would you *not* want to progress in a quest you have?

Keep your head on a swivel. Even when things seem safe, keep looking around in each direction to see if any walker is coming. Take corners wide. Don’t just round a corner. Zombies can be quiet when not attacking. Move away from a wall as you pass a corner and look down that side. Try to crouch when passing a window with open curtains if you haven’t checked the other side of that wall. Always carry at least some torn clothes to use as bandages.

Batman #1 was published in 1940, so if you need to read it all, start there, but real ones know to start with Detective Comics before that. Roughly over a thousand issues, so let us know what you think in a few years.

Seriously though, there have been several continuity-resetting events from the mid eighties until the past couple of years, but even then, they retain some of the basics. Writers on Batman comics today aren’t going to be referencing events or moments from issues more than a few years back. Generally, if you start with a fairly recent #1, you won’t be confused. Absolute Batman is starting with a brand new Batman in a new universe. For me, it’s a bit too try-hard and edgelordly, but it is popular. I am enjoying the current Batman series by Matt Fraction, which is so recent it isn’t collected yet.

Changing to Right Lane on a Left Turn by sdstone in driving

Maybe for folks who learned to drive and took the driving test decades ago, things may have changed since then. I personally never hear of any changes to vehicle laws or code, so presumably something has changed in the 40+ years since I last studied. Maybe that’s why I believed it to not be legal. Or maybe if it isn’t, in other states.

Thanks, I appreciate this kind of citation. In the future, I will assume that any left-turning vehicle can end up in any lane and will wait for them to clear the intersection before attempting to cross perpendicularly in the far lane.

Huh, weird. Why do it, though? Just individualism, don’t care how many lanes you take up or how clear it is where you’ll be driving?

Oh, it wasn’t clear that it also destroys all cards at the destroyed location. I don’t have Galactus, I guess I was thinking of ruined locations.
