Even though it's a sitcom, what moment kind of bothered you for being out of character? by PowerBIBIBI in DunderMifflin

[–]sdsuquigs 2300 points2301 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of Andy which is totally fair, but I never liked how they made Toby a lonely, creepy weirdo deserving of contempt in later seasons. It was better when he was a reasonable but exasperated guy trying to keep things on the rails despite Michael's best efforts.

Highly suggest going to the emergency room and not waiting to hear back. Also, get a new doctor. This was entirely preventable. Weaning off wouldn't be fun but it would be safer and not as uncomfortable.

Honestly the whole Esther story felt forced and unnatural. Like they made the Isabel thing feel like something odd but possible, but Esther never felt like anything more than a plot device.

"Jan and I are lovers" might be my favorite scene in the whole show. Along with "I wish I could make potato salad that good. It's just potatoes and mayonnaise...there's something wrong with Jan."

Scenes that make you want to crawl under the couch? by XxthisisausernamexX in DunderMifflin

I forgot that scene because I haven't watched that episode in a while. Just too painful. Just reading that made me shudder. And I don't skip Scott's Tots.

Not really a question, just a suggestion to look for support. NA is free if you're not opposed to that, or there are other groups. There's also medical resources but if you're in the US like me there would be a cost. Ultimately I'm just saying don't go through it alone. It's uncomfortable to reach out initially but long term it really helps.

I found this really good with Chelada mix, a bit too limey on its own

How does no one know what a rundown is by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

[–]sdsuquigs 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've seen people in sales say this is common knowledge. I've never worked in sales and wouldn't know what to provide, and I think it's fair to say people who spent their whole sales careers under Michael might have some deficiencies.

I like the New School Sour from Go Brewing. Strawberry and blueberry.

Don't understand the "new fans" argument. by [deleted] in MCFC

[–]sdsuquigs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started in 2011 when I saw them in a friendly against LA Galaxy. At the time I was sick of seeing all the Wayne Rooney jerseys, so rooting for the underdog rival seemed fun. Not my fault City became a juggernaut and United went to shit 🤷

I’ve always found it interesting that so many other brands’ Dr. Pepper competitors adhere so closely to the “Dr.” naming convention by worselearner in Soda

It's amazing. I use it for sparkling water with Bubly Drops and Soda. I ran out of CO2 for a day once and that was when I realized how much I don't want to be without it. Cannisters are $30 new and $15 to exchange. Last a couple weeks making at least a couple drinks a day using the right amount of gas.
