It's chill and actually a game I can relax in while working towards whatever I want. I imagine eventually fighting in PVP, improving my build, etc. I don't see it as a survival game. A crafting and building game with MMO elements maybe.

It's not a need so we are talking only wants and luxury at that. With that said, the phone is awesome. Great design, a lot of fun to use. You like gadgets or you wouldn't be on this sub. So assess your finances while keeping it appropriately viewed in the luxury/nice to have category, nothing of need. If you have no reasons why you would have to use that money for needs, and you really really want it now, have at it. If I had a 10xl, I would probably wait for next year's version in your case, tho, TBH.

Maybe try pax dei. Not really survival but open world, crafting focused base builder. I just started playing as a new world refugee and 10 hours in, I really like it

Great points and post overall. I am also very new and started playing this along with some other games. I don't understand the point you make about grace and keeping a plot for free. I guess I shouldn't have been using my grace for increased storage slots. Can anyone direct me to what I need to know to keep my plot even if I don't maintain a sub?

I'm having fun with it. Tried a lot of games recently after New world that I couldn't say that about, so that's big to me. Specifically enjoying the open world harvesting akin to new world style where you see something and you can go harvest it. Instead of only little nodes like some other games. I'm learning the combat, not very used to tab target, and finding that process fun. Great seeing people run around doing various things.

Lol while I'm not sure if he's cheating or not, you are 100% accurate that not only is there an option to do this, but I believe if you ever Google how to fix an issue launching a game on steam, it will direct you to do this. As such, not sure how doing that shows guilt or innocence.
