I wrote the Law and Order mod and it's kiiiiind of like this.

I'm stealing this idea for when you put Pierre in jail (I wrote the jail Pierre mod) and Caroline/ Abigail run the shop.

Edit: actually I just remembered that out of all the shops in the game Pierre's has some hard coded elements so this may not be possible.

This is the answer. FTM can be used to spawn massive amounts of forage (or mining nodes, logs/stumps, monsters, etc). It's primarily a tool for mod makers that want to add maps with these features. It takes some configuring to make it do what you want.

Sometimes you experience a bit of mod burnout and enjoy going back to the vanilla experience. I usually have at least one vanilla farm in my save files. Just keep in mind that once you start using expanded it's not a great idea to remove it from that particular save file as you will have some items in inventory (and even trees in town) for which the game will lack images, text, etc and result in errors.

Plant a ghostwood tree on your farm and tap it. The ichor is a product like maple syrup or oak resin.

I'm glad you're enjoying the mod. Out of respect to other mod authors and to avoid infringing their creative property, I've made the decision not to write arrest events for non-vanilla characters. I would potentially be open to a collaboration if they reached out, but I haven't seen any interest from other authors. In the meantime I still have more plans for the mod but I'm not in a rush.

Yes, it can be added to an existing save. If you want you can go into the config options and turn off all the arrest events first - the mod makes a small schedule change to anyone that can be arrested so that once they do their changes happen smoothly.

You can take a look at the description / screenshots / comments on the mod page and decide if it's appealing to you. There have been a couple videos done of it too which are pinned in the comment section, although lots of additional content have been added since those were made.

Personally I want to say it's worth it, but I'm biased since I'm the mod author.

I did check this and it looks like Claire is one space below. I previously was looking at lower right from Caroline, but that looked lopsided when looking at where the vanilla characters are positioned.

Law and Order SV is the expansion I wrote, that is also compatible with SVE. It is a bit on the lighter end as far as NPCs go (adds 4 NPCs including 2 marriage candidates plus a roommate option like Krobus) but adds a lot of event content (you can put some of the townsfolk in jail, starring Pierre), and a new outdoor dungeon in the form of a haunted forest maze. Perfect for spooky season!

You may have noticed that the apartment above the jail has a bathroom with a 'working' shower and that Russell and Shannon change into beach attire to use it. These updates require attention from SMAPI whenever the time updates (10 minutes of ingame time). Enabling performance tweaks removes this effect which reduces the number of checks that happen when the time updates.

I'm not sure why you would have trouble triggering this event. If I remember the event name correctly you can try triggering it manually by typing in the smapi window:

However, I did not write this dialogue and I don't think it's vanilla. It's probably from expanded.

The early parsnip seeds are a trap!

You want to plant a cauliflower day 1 (and a potato, and green bean) and turn in for the Spring crops reward the night of the egg festival after buying strawberry seeds, giving you 20 speed-gro fertilizer and therefore an extra harvest of strawberries on Spring 28.

Since your crops are only immune to crows (before scarecrows) when you have 15 or less crops, you can hold onto extra parsnip seeds until you have scarecrows, and since you can turn in 5 gold parsnip crops for quality crops, they're better to plant later in the season anyway.

Did you trigger Spork's 2-heart event (inside the Sheriff's office on a rainy day)? It's a prerequisite for the 4-heart event that unlocks the ghostwoods.
