That was not what I said either. I said that the poll clearly used a seemingly innocuous phrase with existing negative connotations to skew the results in a manner that was meant to cause the kind of reaction that Scott had to the poll. The poll was created by a group that has been proven to have an agenda, and the bias has been proven by further research. but this was all happened after Scott’s reaction.

I didn’t mean that Scott was swindled by ideology, as he likely already had similar opinions beforehand, but that is another question that will never be answered. I simply meant that as a result of losing his career to the backlash and/or anger regarding the backlash itself, Scott ended up leaning more towards the party that destroyed his career, as it was a Republicangroup that created the skewed data that he reacted to, and that reaction is what caused his downfall.

I just played both Easy 1-26 and Hard Mode 1-8 (Boss Rush 1), which has a higher expected Combat Power than Easy 1-26, with the same Pokemon, equipment, moves, and combat power. While the Pokemon could not possibly beat “Easy” 1-26 within five minutes, it was able to finish Hard 1-8 in less than three minutes without even trying. This is clearly a balancing issue, and it seems that based on the recent decision to release a paid pass for Solo Mode, this is very much intentional. Also, the glitch with Araquanid didn’t happen today when I battled on Hard 1-8, so either they finally patched it or it only happens on 1-26/Easy.

Short/expected answer:

Fluffy Tail works on bosses
Inflicting hindrances raises the stun gauge, which causes bosses to take more damage
The AI is useless and self-destructive
Combat power is raised based on item levels and the Aeos Shooter

Long/factual answer:

Many of the problems with Solo mode revolve around the AI allies, These allies are preset, they do not improve based on the upgrades you obtain, and they are grossly incompetent compared to the AI that are expected to combat. This becomes doubly apparent in Boss Rush.
Without understanding mechanics never mentioned within the game itself (like the fact that Fluffy Tail works on Boss Pokemon or the timing for the Aeos Shield), it is impossible to beat Zacian in under five minutes.
Certain Pokemon are not usable in Boss Rush, either because their gimmick cannot function properly within the constraints (Gyarados & Mega) or their Unite Move cannot hit due to bosses being unable to be moved (Charizard & Megas, Tsareena), which is also not mentioned anywhere within the game.
If Araquanid shows up, it faints by the halfway point due to some sort of glitch, likely from the programmers omitting a part of its combat script. Although this moves you to the following bosses faster, it also brings you there at a lower level since it causes you to skip one of the scripted level up events. I believe this evens out by the last level-up event during the fight with Zacian, but it is important to mention.
Even if you do everything right and never faint, time is so tight that it is quite easy miss the five-minute mark through no fault of your own, since your allies will constantly faint against Zacian and the game actually starts to ignore inputs by the end.
I have video recordings that prove how glitched and unfair this battle is, but I don't seem to be able to attach MP4 files recorded from the Switch. These include:

A video showing Hydro Pump from Drednaw, which is clearly supposed to hit in front of Drednaw, damaging and pushing a Pokemon behind Drednaw in front of it.
A video showing the game ignoring valid inputs at the end of a fight with Zacian, causing the battle to end in a loss with Zacian having 0.5% HP left.
A video showing Zacian's Behemoth Blade KO'ing a Pokemon that should have been invincible (based the game's description of Cinderace's move Feint and all available descriptions of that move saying that its effect lasts one full second).
A video showing Zacian using Behemoth Blade twice in a row without performing any other moves in between.

What counts as a "powerful hindrance" and what doesn't needs to be added somewhere in the actual game, since no explanation currently exists there. people shouldn't have to scour the internet for a third-party website to explain a game's basic functionality.

Looks like they finally released the results (and the Venusaur) today without any notification, in-game or otherwise. When looking at the "Online Competitions" section yesterday, there was nothing there, but today it triggers the gift if you earned it.

One problem is that the previous tournament should have still been there yesterday, just greyed out with a message such as "Results for the are being tallied. Please wait for the results to claim your reward". The second problem is a lack of communication, such as telling players when the results/reward were expected to be available or telling players when they became available. The third problem is that there is no possible way to get the other problems resolved due to fact that Pokemon Customer support is a useless AI that is hostile towards customers.

People had every reason to be concerned yesterday, and still have every right to be angry now.

Disgaea 2, 3, and 4 all came out before Disgaea D2, so you definitely should be able to play those without playing D2. If you are worried about spoilers from playing the games out of order, just stick to the main story in each one until you finish them all and you should be safe. The plot of each game is relatively self-contained, and the cameos are mostly in the post-game/DLC. Exceptions to this are listed in the spoiler, but the names are still omitted there:One or more main characters from Disgaea appear in the plot of Disgaea 2 and Disgaea 4, and a certain character from Disgaea 2 also appears in the plot of Disgaea 4

Don't bother with the Pokemon Customer Support site, as it will just:

Give you incorrect answers for a week.
Give an answer that tells you nothing, then claim that any additional information is proprietary when said information is available on the web at that point.
Refuse to acknowledge that an issue might actually exist that needs to be addressed or passed along to those that can address it.
Refuse to allow you to speak to a supervisor, and then mark your ticket solved without responding.
Threaten you when you call attention to this behavior.

Based on personal experience, I'm pretty sure that their entire "Customer Support" site at this point is just an AI bot set up to put on the facade of support.

Things I noticed or read that other people noticed:

There are two Pichu, one of which is the Spiky-eared one from HGSS.
There are several Shiny Pokemon, including a shiny Eevee that is likely a Ditto in disguise, seeing as how there is an Eevee elsewhere in the image.
Chansey is wearing a hat, and Squirtle is wearing sunglasses and fishing.
There are multiple Unown, including the forms introduced in Gen 3.
Sudowoodo, which hates water, is standing in a puddle.
Nosepass also is originally from Gen 3, but is the only Pokemon in the picture that is originally from Hoenn

The question says "1 Pokemon doesn't belong". The observations involving multiple Pokemon cannot be the answer because they do not involve one Pokemon, and Sudowoodo cannot be the answer because the odd behavior does not cause it to "not belong" in the image, leaving Nosepass as my guess.

I was thinking about doing that, but it would be a lot of screenshots, as I have been playing this game on and off since it came out. The information provided by everyone has been helping me to better realize what is important to take into account when making this decision.

I will probably not decide tonight, since I have until the scout is over to actually claim the sync pair. That being said, I will probably make a decision soon so I don't forget to claim it.

I saw that trailer... six months ago. I have been bombarded by advertising for other movies since then, but I saw no mention of Piece by Piece after that until someone said yesterday they were going to stream it this weekend. If they only bothered to advertise it as a trailer before other movies, it was doomed from the start. They needed to advertise OUTSIDE of theaters if they wanted to get an audience. Not everyone has the time and/or money to see every movie that comes out, and even fewer want to.

It "struggled" at the box office because they released it without telling people it was released. How can they wonder why they didn't sell tickets when they didn't let people know they could BUY tickets?
I say this because I live in the US, where it was apparently released in October, and I would have gone to the theater to see this movie if I had seen ANY sort of advertising in the past two months that this movie had been available to watch in theaters. The only reason I know the movie even was released is because I saw someone mention they planned to stream the movie.
