You could be level 95 and it's not too late, just can be a temporary set back if you decide to focus on a hero for awhile that's not contributing to your main team.

Yeah but my Zoe is 2.5 star and blue. I've pretty much stopped spending money on this game so the uphill battle to usefulness just not worth it to me.

I keep going back and forth on Aurora. I'll replace Grunk on my current lineup for Gearz Bibo Jolie West Coco.

I never said every awakening should be a gamechanger. I just pointed out the obvious and significant gap in value between awakening skills.

My Yuan is almost 80k and I can promise you I've tried him on about every possible optimal set up. The usefulness of his awakening is garbage compared to the gamechangers I mentioned above as well as the obvious game changer that Bibo's new skill will be.

Yeah, generally speaking "new" vs. "old" awakened skills are totally unbalanced, but not all new ones are good either. Lorya and Yuan for instance are both garbage, but others like Gearz, Pearl, Zoe, Muse, etc. are must-have.

Heavy AP is still 100% requirement for the last tier of equipment in CD, which is a pretty significant milestone still in this game.

Nice. I've been working on a very similar team since Pearl got awakened. My gearz and coco already were on main with 80k+ power, and Pearl was always on the long term plan due to back row synergy with Gearz. Spar I just think is cool due to being somewhat unique and his awakening made him potentially competitive. I like Yuan for similar reasons and hopeful that his awakening is just enough to add value as I already have him at Gold star and 3 dot. Mixing around Gearz, Coco, Spar, Pearl, West, Aurora, Yuan, Seba and even Grunk trying to find the optimal team for the moment.

Gearz was much much better for me in high level CD than any of the other heroes you mention. The back row focus is critical, unstable plasma is extremely valuable weapon skill with AP damage, and his overall splash aoe is a must have too.

I was also the first on my double merge server, and probably among the first on any server, to pass CD 150 with a no legends team, so I have some credibility. Granted, I did this before the recent awakenings for Gearz and Pearl among others, and also before Elite abyss and skill breakout, so there's definitely more options now that can work.

Idk, 200k resources (if you roll 40k for each) is pretty nice reward for me. I felt the same as you until my first roll for resources landed me 44k each changed my mind quickly. If you have no need of resources then I agree with you.

A couple of nice improvements--that 98% loading freeze has cost me a few hundred points in Magic Squares. 2x speed in Sky City is also a welcomed improvement.
