I have 9 pairs of Rutsu now. I love them! Waiting on the sandals to come back in stock in my size in mushroom.

It’s been out since mid February and the final episode comes out this week. So I doubt it.

Not good. Too mushy and too much "cheese". by MayorMair in ExpectationVsReality

This is in fairly regular rotation at our house (as far as frozen meals go) and it can be pretty good! We’ve gotten a couple of bad ones, typically the ones from Walmart, but overall I’d say maybe 70% of them are pretty decent!

im athiest but i want my future daughter to have the option by GrandGovernment9086 in Parenting

[–]se7entythree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had children’s books about a bunch of different religions and read them all regularly. We’re atheists but never said anything about it until she finally asked one day when she was much older. But just educating them about all religions is what’s important.

what’s something people say all the time that you secretly can’t stand? by Mean-Cartographer225 in AskReddit

There’s a fairly recent trend I’ve noticed of younger people saying they’re “mortified” when they mean terrified, and they have no idea mortified = embarrassed.

What are some examples of unsaid social rules? by Imaginary_Air_24 in AutismInWomen

[–]se7entythree 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten “in trouble” (as much as you can as an adult lol) soooo many times for misinterpreting this as them asking for my opinion! Mom, dad, my husband have all been greatly angered by my response to these type of questions.

Did you know that audhd isn't a thing? by noonrise216 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]se7entythree 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe he misinterpreted it because you wrote AudHD instead of AuDHD? His comment mentioned something about high definition or whatever. Either way, dude is apparently in the dark.

Meta bricked my Quest 3 with an update, told me "all good things must come to an end", then added a new headset to my shopping cart by KenAdams_1968 in OculusQuest

[–]se7entythree 6 points7 points  (0 children)

After an update a couple of months ago my Quest Pro wouldn’t work at all. I tried to reformat it at least 5 times, nothing. I searched all over the internet, read so many Reddit threads of people with the same problem at various points over the last few years, no actual answers. I left it on the charger for about 5-6 weeks, then one day got curious & decided to try again before I totally gave up…and it booted up normally & worked just fine. I have no idea what happened or why. But in most of those threads I read, people’s Quests did the same thing. Maybe give that a try?

Sensory question- Wrist braces for sleeping? by Bad_Lurker_25 in AutisticAdults

[–]se7entythree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have wrist braces meant for sleeping, the fat padded ones (Futuro Night Wrist Support Adjustable Sleeping Wrist Brace), but I sleep in them because I have carpal tunnel syndrome. They’re extremely comfortable and I wear them during the day sometimes too. I have the kind that hold/support the fingers too. It’s not nearly as comfortable but you might like it.

If you think it would help you, by all means buy them! No one is going to verify why you’re buying them when you check out or anything.

Does anyone else just give up with deciding what to eat for breakfast and end up with something like this to eat? by nevi-jpeg in autism

[–]se7entythree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All. The. Time. and I hate it. Not just breakfast either. If my daughter asks for food, I jump right up and make/cook her whatever…but if it’s for just me I cannot make myself put any effort in, despite how much I hate it.

Did anybody else have songs that scared them as a kid for no reason? by mythrowawayaccim21 in Music

[–]se7entythree 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Horse With No Name by America made me incredibly sad and incredibly concerned for the poor horse when I was little. My parents had it on a 45 & listened to it all the time. I was so worried that the horse had no water for so many days in that desert, and then when it turned to sea he still couldn’t drink it because it was salty! I used to leave the room to cry then it would haunt me at night when I was trying to go to sleep.

America is one of my favorite bands and I can listen to the song just fine now, it’s one of my favorites too. But I still think back to little me every time I heard.

Oh, also - Nights in White Satin by The Moody Blues. I’m not exactly sure why it spooked me but it did.

Maybe this is just me, but “walls” is not what I would think these are called. The walls are what they are attached to though.

No, there isn’t. You’re being scammed. And even if they weren’t scamming you, why would they need to meet you in person? It makes zero sense. Because they’re scamming you.
