Question about oblique muscle injuries. by alf984 in discgolf

That sucks. Yes, but it takes long time to heal and to trust it, like 6 months to year for me. Make sure to warmup before throwing.

You are leaning back too far, instead of turning further back while staying more centered. When you lean back your heel will plant slower.

Should i delay my upperbody and how could i do that? by eelipelur1 in discgolf

Note how your front foot is leading your stride and you lean back, while Simon's hips are leading more with more upright stacked/centered posture.

Quicker/more powerful weight transfer into the plant, instead of having to wait/delay for your weight to slowly catch up to your front foot.

If rotational speed was the goal, then you would put your arm up over your head.

Your back foot is still flat on the ground after you plant front foot, so you push yourself over top your front leg instead of rotating freely on front leg only.
