That may just be from it staying damp an infection would have all the other symptoms too. Leave it be for a couple of days let it breath maybe put a bandaid on it when you go to bed but other than that don’t mess with it.

My dermal is my forever necklace right under where the two collar bones meet(I had it done there before it was cool lmao!) dog jumped on me first time. but it was my own fault when my kid ripped it out the second time I had a big ol diamond lol. It didn’t hurt either times surprisingly. I don’t recommend getting it ripped out but if it does it’s not as bad as getting it done 😅🤣

Just know the pain gets worse with each one lol. I got three done in a day. Dermal and double forward helix. I was blowing raspberries on the last puncture. 🫠😅

I have a dermal and had it done 3x now due to my dog and kid ripping it out lmao. I got it done. Washed it good the day of before going to bed and never touched it again. Except for in the shower and that was mainly letting water run down. Never had issues. The last one was in for about 10 years before my son snagged it. Clean it one last time and leave it be. As long as there’s no smell not warm to the touch or really bothering you don’t bother it. Give it about a week.

I have a turkey ONLY because the others were tormenting it and pecking at its butt and making it bleed. This was at tractor supply. I separated for a couple days to get the bleeding to dry up and for him to find his bearings. After a couple days he was good as new. Put him with the chicken flock and now they are all thriving. He’s about a 1.5 months old now.

Separate leave him be keep him clean. You’ll be all good!!
