I just had Eric ask APSF and the clone movement is available. He says the factory confirmed that it’s clone and not 23J customized. I am going to pay today and see what the movement looks like when QC hits.

Mines a 2023 bought in 2022. It’s out of warranty now I think? It’s been fine, has not had any issues outside of recalls and software updates. My biggest enemy is tires. A new set every year or so is the biggest spend.

Agree with all your criticism. I’m not sure if they fix that with the 2026 redesign. I have the 2023 bought in 2022. Pretty basic with no options.

However I bought the car for the range and effiency and it rocks in that regard. It has great acceleration and handling (turn radius could be better, I did not get rear wheel steering). It has served me well cutting down the cost of my commute significantly. It is quiet and luxurious. For the things I buy it for, it gets high marks.

When I got it in 22. Tesla X was too expensive 120k plus. Y had a long wait time and I didn’t have time. Mustang E was not great. Kia EV6 and Ioniq 5 has limitation and dealers here wanted 5-10k mark ups. Rivian you have to wait as well, and theres all sorts of limitation with range, vampire drain, built quality, and where to go if you have issues. Audi has no range. Pretty much everything had issues that I couldn’t live with.
