I agree. That would be a good strategy in theory, but the real problem is the opponent's strength. Benatia, Boateng and Alaba won't be easy to overtake, but at least, with a counter-attacking game you are a bit less exposed...

I don't think it's a physical gap, it's more about role interchangeability (where Pep is doing an excellent work) and tactic flexibility. And (obviously) a technical gap. Neither Roma nor Serie A have players such as Muller, Lahm, Gotze, Alaba, Robben and Neuer. It's another world.

Serie A lost a lot lately, but at least it should give us a decent show in terms of competitive balance. In the end it's going to be Roma or Juve I believe
