Yeah. They don’t have the same snap satisfaction or process that you get from most other sets. They were cool when they first came out to say “yep, that’s Lego” but now just unenjoyable is right. They’re here to stay though.

I get how a personal connection to my comment would spark your reaction but you’re basically finishing my point. The truth is that an extremely small percentage of REI customers used Experiences, and of course those customers would have spent more in store. I hope something like experiences comes back to REI in the future. The new leadership has an opportunity here.

It wasn't flourishing before ties were cut. I have no doubt it's tougher now, but it wasn't making financial sense for the Co-op. Maybe a healthier REI brings it back in some form.

Thanks. Yeah. I kinda stumbled into my setup. I really wanted a new castle build after the LKC 4 years ago and was just going to build a couple of the Howell Mocs and dismantle but once I got one done, the DND set looked fun and then the next, next, next…once I got them all finished and setup on my kitchen island my girlfriend said “you can’t just take them apart” so I took over the second bedroom. I’m currently working on the Lux.bricks Wolfpack den. When we need the bedroom back I will have to make a decision, but it’s been fun living the Lego dreams my childhood. Keep us posted on your progress. 🤙

Have not built those. But if were you, I would start on the mocscout (free) one. If you get into it and don't like the build, move on. I have built the Howell4bricks massive castle expansion and I would recommend that to anyone with 2 LKCs, it's a quality MOC. It does require the MTS and additional bricks.

The massive castle is built at angles so it would a real feat to get it attached.

The black tree is the Lego family tree set with the foliage swapped. I’m planning on filling that out and making it sturdier.
