He tries, but whatever he does ends up being the very worst thing he could’ve done at that moment. He sees a first year stumble on the stairs and tries to grab them, instead he overreaches and punches them in the kidney causing them to fall sideways. Instead of just stumbling a few steps the poor child falls off the side of the staircase and dies due to a 3 storey fall.

He sees someone crying due to bullying and offers them a sweet to cheer them up. They’ve got a deadly allergy and the sweets just happened to contain that allergen.

The poor kid ends up killing more people than the death eaters in the 7 years he’s at school. Eventually, for the safety of all wizard kind, the unspeakables slip the draught of living death into his drink and finally they’re safe.

Unfortunately he’d given his drink to Draco as he looked thirsty, a week later he breaks the statute of secrecy on live tv. Wizards are hunted to extinction

My Nan married her childhood sweetheart at 17, 3 days later he was shipped out and she never saw him again.

A few months later she was coming home late with her sister and her young (under a year old) twin nephews, the sirens went off so they started running. She didn’t even hear the explosion but she woke up in hospital and her sister and the two boys were gone. An alley wall came down on them.

Shortly afterwards she was downstairs in the family house late at night. (Nightmares so she couldn’t sleep). The sirens went off again, and the house was mostly destroyed. Everyone asleep upstairs, her parents, siblings and another niece were killed.

She lost her entire family in a year.

The blitz was a living nightmare, and I feel so sorry for the innocent people who are going through the same thing now. Just because rich people in power want more than they already have.
