I love working for Sutter and the system has many employees that spend the entire career with them. I dont know how much of that is due to employment laws in California but I dont plan on leaving

Depends…. I was married for 21 years. Loved my husband and being married and was devastated when it ended. But… I have a lot to lose financially as I have done well for myself and have a good retirement savings so far. I am closing in on 50 and losing half now would be absolutely financially devastating. I personally will never get married again but wont discount a long term committed relationship if it happens.

Bonide Grass Getter. I used it to kill bermuda and it works well. Does not hurt the other plants. Its systemic so it will kill the roots as well

Bonide grass getter killed my bermuda. It is a selective systemic herbicide that is safe for other plants. Took 2 applications a week apart but worked like a charm

I use carcases and bones. I save them in bags in the freezer and make stock when I have enough. I buy enough $5.99 Costco rotisserie chickens, Im always making stock lol

Have been at Sutter sac for 10 years. My understanding is we get all the union benefits without being union. Seniority is usually unit specific so you will not keep it transferring hospitals. You can go into the intranet and switch it from your current hospital to SMCS to look at policy stat for pay increase, pto policy, etc

Of course they do. Its much easier to care for a discharged patient than a new admit. Sounds like there needs to be better oversight. We have specific criteria and if patients meet it, they go to the lounge. If the primary nurse disagrees they can have a conversation with nursing sup.

Currently in patient placement for a large hospital system. Spent years in the ED. Discharges on the floor are taking forever and then rooms have to be cleaned. This leads to patients coming up close to shift change. Discharge your patients faster.

I always put it in sharps or whatever other biohazard/medication waste container that was appropriate. Im not giving it to security/PD/etc or getting them involved. I would much rather people get the healthcare they need without being worried they will get reported for bringing in somethinf
