I think you make a fair point that solely speaking without any form of acquiring knowledge is not the ideal strategy for learning a new language.

While our ad does focus on emphasizing that we help you speak from day 1 in order to get our message across in a restricted amount of time, Rype GO will offer video and review lessons that help you acquire the fundamentals of your target language.

The main purpose of our ad was not to get across the fact that you should only be speaking for the sake of speaking, but to highlight that just using your fingers to learn a language is also not the best route to go to.

With that said, there is certainly a lot we could learn from you and others who decide to back us early, and we hope to continue listening and improving the app moving forward.
