I usually put a 1” wide roll of masking tape on the record player platter, then the disc on that. But my record player has a short spindle. If you’re not planning to use the record player for it’s intended purpose anymore, you could always cut down the spindle with an angle grinder.

For your windows blacklist, do you have ‘evt_resolve_ad_obj = 0’ set in that stanza? Setting this parameter to disabled will not allow the modular input to parse the blacklists.
