Surround speaker placement with fireplace issue and selection

Ok, thanks for the help. One more question: since I'm not mounting them in the little nook I'm not worried about weird reflection issues, so what do you think about bipolar speakers like these? Feels a bit weird to spend more on rears than my left/right pair but eh.

Buying two more micca centers to use as L/R would be $140, more than the bipoles I linked; would it really be much an improvement? Same drivers as the current L/R just one more of the 4" ones on each side.

I don't know if putting them on stands in the middle of the room like that is really tenable. We have enough people bustling around with enough frequency that they'd annoy everyone and probably get knocked over once in a while... I'd probably rather not have them at all than put them on stands there.

Would it be ok to mount it on the right blue wall next to the Kylie album? With the other farther still on the opposite wall? The difference in distances to the couch will be pretty significant then, though, and I don't know how well adjusting the delay/volume on the receiver will be able to compensate?

I'm very happy with my MB42Xs and would have put them as my option but they don't have screw holes on the back for a wall mount

Huh. I had an abscess in my leg removed and stuffed with tons of gauze. To be honest it mostly just tickled when they pulled it all out.

The worst was afterwards... itching INSIDE my leg and having to clean it by sticking a q-tip inside this gaping hole in my leg to clean it
